Alexander Vindman condemned himself in his impeachment testimony

The commander-in-chief ought to fire Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who serves on the National Security Council, for rank insubordination. That is the key take­away from Tuesday’s hearings in the Democratic impeachment push.

Vindman, unlike other Democratic “star witnesses,” was at least on the July 25 phone call between President Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, that set off the inquiry.

But Vindman was unreliable and had questionable judgment, according to his own outgoing superior, Tim Morrison, the National Security Council’s senior director for European affairs.

In fact, Morrison viewed Vindman as so untrustworthy that he opted to exclude him from his conversations with William Taylor, the senior US diplomat in Ukraine.

Vindman had an “unfortunate habit,” Morrison thought, of defying the sprawling executive branch’s carefully delineated chain of command. Vindman’s testimony vindicates Morrison’s dripping disdain for his former subordinate.

The officer, who testified that he has never spoken directly with the president, nonetheless admitted to advising Zelensky as to how to comport himself in his communication with Trump. Vindman testified that he did not have time to express his concerns directly to Morrison, but he apparently found the time to express his concerns to both Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent and an unnamed individual in the intelligence community.

As The Federalist’s Sean Davis noted, it is about as plausible an interpretation as any that the nation is now slogging through this imbroglio because Vindman opted to work in tandem with a Deep State whistleblower to jump-start impeachment proceedings over a disagreement with a phone call’s ethics.

Over The Last 3 Years, American Culture Has Gone Even Deeper Down The Toilet

The American people have wasted the last three years. If you don’t know what I am talking about, stick with me, because you will definitely get my point by the end of this article. Three years ago, Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in one of the greatest election upsets in American history. Many conservatives have used the word “reprieve” to describe what happened, but the truth is that it was actually an opportunity. It was an opportunity for this nation to move in a fundamentally different direction culturally, but it would be up to the American people to decide if that would actually happen or not. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen. Instead, just about every form of evil that you can possibly imagine is running rampant in our society, and things are getting worse with each passing day. No matter who wins the next presidential election, and no matter who controls Congress, there is no future for our country if we stay on the path that we are currently on. Our culture is steadily swirling down the toilet, and most Americans don’t seem to care.

On Monday, we witnessed a watershed cultural moment that perfectly illustrates what I am talking about.

For many years, Chick-Fil-A was one of the few major corporations in America that was openly resisting the rising forces of political correctness.  They literally became a heroic counter-cultural symbol for many of us, because they were willing to take a bold stand for the truth even as they endured endless attacks from rabid politically correct militants.

But now Chick-Fil-A has unconditionally surrendered to the politically correct crowd.  On Monday, the company announced that they would no longer be donating money to The Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  And CNBC is reporting that this decision was made because both of those organizations “have a history of opposing same-sex marriage”…

Chick-Fil-A said on Monday that it has stopped funding two Christian charities after coming under fire in recent weeks from LGBTQ activists.

The fast-food chain’s foundation has donated millions of dollars to The Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Both organizations have a history of opposing same-sex marriage.

Seriously?

Has our society gone so far down the toilet that it is now considered to be “evil” to give money to The Salvation Army?

Are you kidding me?

Look, the truth is that the Salvation Army is not even remotely a radical organization, and yet the politically correct crowd all over America is calling on everyone to boycott it.

Is this really where our society is heading?

Needless to say, a lot of conservatives were absolutely outraged by Chick-Fil-A’s decision.  For example, this is what Allie Beth Stuckey had to say about it on Twitter…

Really @ChickfilA? This is the direction you want to go? You’ve garnered the unconditional support of millions not in spite of but BECAUSE OF your stances, which is the sole reason you’re successful. Idiocy. Bye!

I totally agree with her.

I will no longer be eating at Chick-Fil-A either, and I hope that millions of other outraged Americans will make the same decision.

Vegan Sues Burger King Because Impossible Burgers Are Contaminated with Actual Meat

Fake meat is dumb. If you don’t like hamburgers because you can’t stand the thought of eating something that once had a face, then you shouldn’t eat them. Even if they’re not really meat. I don’t know why you would you want to stuff your face with a chunk of heavily salted soy protein in the first place, but it seems particularly pointless to eat something that’s specifically designed to smell and taste like dead animals, if your whole deal is not eating dead animals. You’re already punishing yourself for being biologically omnivorous. Why torment yourself even further with some sort of awful artificial frankenburger?

That’s why I’m amused by the following item. This is what Burger King gets for trying to make inroads with vegans. Jonathan Stempel and Richa Naidu, Reuters:

Burger King was sued on Monday by a vegan customer who accused the fast-food chain of contaminating its meatless “Impossible” Whoppers by cooking them on the same grills as its traditional meat burgers.

In a proposed class action, Phillip Williams said he bought an Impossible Whopper, a plant-based alternative to Burger King’s regular Whopper, at an Atlanta drive-through, and would not have paid a premium price had he known the cooking would leave it “coated in meat by-products.”

That’s right, this genius went to Burger King and bought a burger, and now he’s suing them because it contained traces of… burger.

World’s First Vagina Museum Is Open And Ready For Business In London

The world’s first Vagina Museum is finally open and ready for business in London and it’s been a dream in the making for more than two years.

“It was like sexism nailed on the head,” founder of the museum, Florence Schechter, told The Daily Beast on Tuesday after learning about a penis museum in Iceland in 2017. “You couldn’t get more obvious.”

Since that time, the 28-year-old started a crowdfund to create the place that is less of a sex-type shop and more about education on the female anatomy.

“According to a recent poll, more than half of women couldn’t label the vagina on a diagram,” Schechter shared, before condemning “thousands of years of patriarchy.”

Inside the one room brick exposed building, patrons can see the first exhibition titled “Muff Busters: Vagina Myths and How to Fight Them.”

Chick-Fil-A Trades Adoring Christian Fans For Outraged Mob That Won’t Be Appeased Until Their Every Demand Is Met

U.S.—Chick-fil-A has said it will stop making donations to Christian groups that oppose the LGBTQ movement.

The move is said to be a “good trade” as Chick-fil-A has sacrificed its Christian fans in favor of an outraged mob that will stop at nothing to destroy them.

Restaurant spokespeople say they believe this move will be enough to appease the LGBTQ community and aren’t worried about further demands from the mob until Chick-fil-A is groveling at the outraged leftists’ feet.

“In no way will this backfire on us,” said Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy. “Surely the left will be entirely appeased by this move. They will definitely forgive us right away and welcome us as one of them. In no way will they hold our past activities against us. This is much better than our previous Christian audience, who were always adoring us and never protesting us.”

Cathy said the Christian fans have been great, but it’s boring just having loyal fans who support you through thick and thin, and he’d much rather have fans who stage die-ins and cancel you when you don’t cave in.

“Sometimes you just want to be loved by a group that protests you for years and calls you a bigot,” he added, shrugging.

At publishing time, a source had confirmed that Chick-fil-A was paid a sizable bribe of thirty pieces of silver to defund the Christian organizations.
