Conservative Actor Honored At White House, Blasts Marxist Takeover Of Dems

On Thursday, President Trump honored one of the true patriots in Hollywood when award-winning actor Jon Voight was honored in a White House Ceremony.

The veteran star has become a hated figure in far-left Tinseltown for his unapologetic support for Trump as well as his staunch conservative values and like Clint Eastwood, he couldn’t give a damn what any of the degenerates think of him.

Voight’s career has spanned six decades during which he has appeared in such iconic classics as Deliverance, Midnight Cowboy, Heat, Enemy Of The State and Coming Home for which he won the Best Actor Oscar for his stunning portrayal of a paraplegic Vietnam vet.

It was to the theme song of the controversial 1969 Midnight Cowboy that Voight danced to right before receiving the great honor from the POTUS.

Others who were honored by President Trump during the festive ceremony included musician Alison Krauss, renowned chef Patrick J. O’Connell and The Musicians of the United States Military.

Jon Voight danced briefly on a makeshift stage in the East Room of the White House as the theme from Midnight Cowboy played and President Donald Trump prepared to award him the National Medal of Arts.

The jovial atmosphere was a contrast to what was taking place at the same time on Capitol Hill: Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, was giving his closing remarks in Thursday’s hearing as part of the impeachment inquiry.

Trump has labeled Schiff “shifty Schiff,” while Voight is one of the president’s highest-profile Hollywood defenders. He’s blasted the Democrats on Twitter for pursuing the investigation.

It was just a few weeks ago that Voight – a patriot and a devout Christian – posted a video calling out the Democrat disciples of Satan Stalin in the House and their anti-American, sham impeachment.

Voight also rained fire down on his fellow Hollywooders as well as the political left in a blistering interview with the UK Daily Mail prior to being honored at the White House.

The Oscar-winning screen legend, 80, was in Washington to receive the National Medal of Arts from President Donald Trump in an East Room ceremony at the White House.

The president called him ‘an actor of astonishing range and depth’ and ‘one of America’s greatest living legends in cinema.’

In a brief interview beforehand at the Trump International Hotel near the White House, Voight praised the National Endowment for the Arts and said he was ‘humbled’ by the honor—but then vented about California culture and his fellow artists who thrive in it.

‘They’re programmed, you see,’ he told DailyMail.com. ‘There’s been an attack with propaganda that was inserted over the years, you know. A lot of it in the ’60s.’

‘And people don’t realize that they’ve been undermined. The Democratic Party’s been undermined, overtaken by Marxists, and, you know, and atheists,’ Voight added.

‘They took God out of their platform. Can you imagine that?’ he asked.

Like so many others including Eastwood who continues to crank out intelligent movies at an advanced age, he will never be recognized by his Hollywood peers who even during the turbulent 60s and Vietnam never censored those who they had political quarrels with.

But the Academy Awards are now meaningless thanks to “woke” cancel culture but who needs them when you can be honored by the greatest president in U.S. history at the White House.
