This will really go over well with the socialists who control the party…
Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has officially joined the 2020 Democrat presidential field in a move that could prove to be a major shake-up.
With it becoming increasingly clear that none of the socialist loons who were onstage in Atlanta last week have a snowball’s chance in Hell of beating President Trump next year it will be up to Bloomberg to offer an alternative to voters.
Such is the state of the party when a gun-grabbing proponent of the nanny state is able to pass for a moderate but this is how far gone that the Democratic party is with two of the top three candidates being avowed socialists who want to destroy America.
We cannot afford four more years of President Trump’s reckless and unethical actions.
The stakes could not be higher.
We must win this election.
And we must begin rebuilding America. https://t.co/W6P9uaCyqN

Via NPR, “Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg Is Running For President”:
Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is making a late entry into the presidential race, a move that could upend the Democratic nominating contest this spring.
He had initially ruled out a presidential run in March, saying that while he believed that he would defeat President Trump in a general election, that he was “clear-eyed about the difficulty of winning the Democratic nomination in such a crowded field.”
His decision to join the race less than three months before voters start to cast ballots is a reflection of his view that the current field of Democratic candidates was not positioned to defeat Trump in a general election, and that a candidate with his experience and centrist politics would have a better chance of doing so.
The billionaire businessman and activist has released his first ad spot that shamelessly exploits 9/11 despite that fact that Rudy Giuliani was the Big Apple’s mayor when the attacks occurred.
I’m running for president to defeat Donald Trump and rebuild America.
I believe my unique set of experiences in business, government, and philanthropy will enable me to win and lead.

His ad also serves as a shot at job-killing socialists like taco bar revolutionary and media superstar Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who nearly singlehandedly cost New York tens of thousands of new jobs when she torpedoed Amazon’s plans to open a second headquarters in the city.
It also touts his crusade against the Second Amendment and seeks to co-opt the climate change doomsday cult with toned down rhetoric and no predictions that everyone is going to die in twelve years.
Bloomberg’s belated entry into the clown car demolition derby comes on the heels of a recent poll showing that in the key battleground state of Wisconsin, Trump would clobber any one of the current field including the “electable” Joe Biden.

It didn’t take long for “woke” Twitter and AOC-Bernie Sanders loyalists to attack Bloomberg and he can expect to take heavy social media fire going forward.
The sheer arrogance & unadulterated ego of @MikeBloomberg to literally try to buy the presidency.
He just announced he won't even campaign in the 1st 4 primaries & that he won't be accepting donations.
His plan is to buy the biggest states like California and Texas.
A SHAM.

Here's the thing @MikeBloomberg.
Your legacy as a public was questionable before today.
But now the entire country is going to watch you blow hundreds of millions of dollars on an egotistical charade while you could be helping to Flip the Senate or back a credible candidate.

Michael Bloomberg could singlehandedly eliminate half of all medical debt in America and still remain a billionaire — and instead he’s spending money on ads glorifying himself and his campaign to prevent billionaires from having to pay slightly higher taxes.
Think about that. https://t.co/u1P8Vytekj

Michael Bloomberg:
❌ supported stop-and-frisk
❌ vetoed a ban on racial profiling
❌ vetoed a plan to create an NYPD inspector general
❌ changed the city charter to give himself a third term
❌ encouraged billionaires to drive up the cost of living in NYC

Prior to his sudden apology in a black church for supporting and expanding “stop-and-frisk,” I wrote about why the candidacy of @MikeBloomberg is an insult to the increasingly powerful black electorate. (Despite his alleged conversion, my argument stands.) https://t.co/mqV8G5UVNe

As for those already battling for the nomination, Bloomberg has already rattled Comrade Bernie’s cage.
I’m disgusted by the idea that Michael Bloomberg or any billionaire thinks they can circumvent the political process and spend tens of millions of dollars to buy elections.
If you can’t build grassroots support for your candidacy, you have no business running for president. https://t.co/jyIBVXUToj

It remains to be seen whether he will receive the same reception that former Starbucks chairman Howard Schultz did when he floated the idea of his own White House run earlier this year.
Schultz was savaged by the Twitter hate mob, viciously attacked by the radicalized Dem base and slinked off with his tail between his legs after a national boycott of the coffee chain that he founded was threatened.
But times may have changed now that AOC, Bernie, and Pocahontas have scared the bejesus out of the high-rollers who write the big checks and it dawns on the party that each and every one of the current crop of cranks would be pulverized by Trump.
Bloomberg certainly has billions of dollars to burn but will it be enough to hold off Hillary?
