Angry socialist Bernie Sanders’ “Everything Free For Everyone” plan isn’t quite as free as the name would indicate and so he has reluctantly had to admit that middle-class taxes will have to go up to pay for it. This is not a message that resonates with middle-class voters, so Bernie went out and found some millionaires who claim they want to pay more in taxes and has framed these rich people as “patriots” in hopes that working people won’t mind that their whole paycheck goes to the state.
Check these liars out.
“Tax me!” Let’s listen to these Patriotic Millionaires who want their taxes raised, not cut. pic.twitter.com/ZzMylBuppu

“Tax me. Tax my estate. I want you to.”
“We wanna be taxed more.
“My taxes should be raised.”
“Millionaires like myself should pay higher taxes.”
As far as I can tell, Bernie found 8 millionaires who all say they and other wealthy people should be paying way more in taxes. We’ll have to take Bernie’s word that these are legitimate rich people and not actors portraying millionaires. I would like to point out that everyone who appears in this video is a white man, so obviously Bernie is still struggling with diversity.
Even if they are real millionaires, these people are insane, like Mark Baum dropping this bomb:
“It isn’t communist and it isn’t socialist to say gosh, if you have more you can pay more, that your contributions back to society, presumably for what society has given to you should be higher,” said Baum.
Actually, yeah, that’s completely socialist and communist. Baum’s sentence was awkward, but what he was trying to say is, “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.” That’s a Karl Marx quote and it means that those who can, must contribute more.
What Baum really said was, “It’s not communist to quote the godfather of communism, expressing the essence of communism.”
Millionaire doofus Lawrence Beneson then proved he knows nothing of economics or metaphors:
“Now we have no taxation and no representation because the representatives don’t listen to the people in their districts. They listen to their donors and their donors say, “No don’t raise my taxes,” said Beneson.
Guess what? The people in their districts say “don’t raise my taxes” too. This clown then launched into this incoherent barbecue rant:
“‘Hey you coming over to that barbecue on Sunday? And the guy says, ‘Yeah, I like that barbecue. I’ve been going for the last three years. Wouldn’t miss it. Joe’s cool I don’t want to raise his taxes because then he’ll have less money to donate to me.’ Meanwhile the people who are bring the food to the barbecue and cooking the food at the barbecue and slaughtering the animals or hopefully harvesting the vegetables for the barbecue, are feeling the pain!” Beneson said.
What in God’s name is this moron talking about and how did someone this ignorant and inarticulate become a millionaire? For some reason Bernie’s people thought they should let him continue with this madness:
“Because they only have one car and they drive over the potholes and the multimillionaires whose barbecue they service has four cars,” continued Beneson.
I’m not joking, this guy kept going with this bad economy/barbecue analogy.
“Now your car gets shot, flat tire, you don’t make it to the barbecue,” Beneson said.
If I’m understanding this correctly, politicians don’t raise their donors taxes and then have a barbecue. The regular people slaughter animals for the barbecue, Beneson hopes it’s a vegan affair, and serve food at the barbecue despite feeling pain. The also can’t get to the barbecue because they only have one car that gets shot and a flat trie from running over potholes on the way to the barbecue but the rich can get there because they have 4 cars.
I have 3 pressing questions: 1) how are the regular people serving slaughter animals at the barbecue if they can’t get their due to potholes and gunfire? 2) How come having more than 1 car allows rich people to get to the barbecue? 3) Is it fair that this guy is rich?
Frank Jernigan finishes the video by saying, “Tax me. That’s what we want.”
I have one more question about this entire video: If these millionaires are begging to pay more taxes, why don’t they just do it voluntarily? There’s nothing stopping them from paying more than they do now. There’s no law that says a person can’t pay more than he or she owes in taxes, so they should lead by example.
