Fake News Craps All Over Trump’s Thanksgiving Afghanistan Visit With The Troops

If Trump did it, the fake news is going to crap on it. The President made a surprise Thanksgiving visit with the troops in Afghanistan and the liberal media found a way to make it negative. At this point the temper tantrum known as Trump Derangement Syndrome is less about being personally offended by the results of an election and more about liberals being unhappy with themselves. These are self-loathing people who are trying desperately to make everyone as miserable as they are.

Fox News reports that President Trump did such a great job of sneaking over to Afghanistan that Adam Schiff and his deep state mole whistleblower didn’t even get a chance to leak it to the media:

President Trump surprised troops and news outlets on Thanksgiving morning when he appeared in Afghanistan to thank troops for their service to the country and help serve a turkey dinner — but doing so required extreme security measures to ensure both safety and to prevent the word from getting out.

But in order to make the visit, intense security and a host of other measures were required to ensure the news didn’t leak. The journey began Wednesday, where Trump snuck out of Mar-a-Lago.
Many of the details of how he did so are a secret, but the president flew out of an undisclosed airport in Florida on a small, also undisclosed, plane Wednesday evening.

On that flight bound for Joint Base Andrews, in Maryland, there was only one Fox News journalist, who was serving as the pool reporter. The plane was bare-bones, except for four blue leather chairs and a port-a-potty that had been brought for the occasion.

As part of the security measures phones were taken from all onboard, including senior White House officials. Trump greeted the crew but remained in the cockpit for takeoff.

When the plane landed in Joint Base Andrews later Wednesday evening, Trump switched to Air Force One — which was not lit up on the tarmac, but was instead hidden in a hangar. It took off from JBA with all interior lights off and the windows drawn.

The plane landed in Afghanistan on a pitch-black runway, while the pool was only allowed to take pictures of Trump’s arrival from a nearby van.

“There’s nowhere I’d rather spend Thanksgiving than with the toughest, fiercest warriors. I’m here to say Happy Thanksgiving and thank you very much. As president of the United States, I have no higher honor than serving as commander in chief,” Trump told the goops.

It would be really hard to paint this in a negative light, but the liberal media was up to the task. Here’s CNN’s Jake Tapper attempting to find fault:

You need to check your tone, mister. Jake Tapper’s big takeaway from Trump visiting the troops in Afghanistan for Thansgiving is that he never did it before, including 15 years before he was even President. This tweet comes off like: “Big deal, the President doesn’t deserve any good press for this because the war in Afghanistan started 18 years ago and this is the first time Trump went to the active war zone.”

I wonder if FDR spent the holidays on Normandy Beach or if LBJ was serving turkey in Saigon.

Newsweek took their Trump hatred to a new level by posting a preemptive piece about how Trump spent his Thanksgiving golf and tweeting instead of visiting with the troops. Don Jr. thought it was funny:

The Newsweek writer who brought the weak news tried to save some face, but ended up falling on her face:

She was totally going to stick it Trump for being an uncaring golfing tweeting jerk and he had to go be a jerk by secretly flying to Afghanistan to spend Thanksgiving with the troops. I’m sure Newsweek will make Trump pay for this with dozens of negative articles over the weekend.

When Obama made a surprise visit to the troops in Afghanistan, the liberal media slobbered so much over him they were slipping and sliding all over their fanboy drool. President Trump does it and they have to watch where they step from all the crap they dropped.
