The democratic buzzword of the day is “solemn.” They must have gotten that from the same focus group that told them to impeach President Trump for “bribery,” something the abandoned when they couldn’t prove it. As the impeachment vote nears, Nancy Pelosi said it is a solemn occasion. Rep. Debbie Dingell also says it is solemn. The female House democrats showed up to the impeachment vote dressed in black like it’s a funeral, saying it is to show just how damn solemn it is. They are definitely getting their money’s worth out of this word, which is a lie.
Democrats have been plotting President Trump’s impeachment since his election in 2016. They have rolled out one bogus accusation after another before finally deciding on to impeach the president on nothing in particular. They are giddy with excitement to finally cast an impeachment vote, but want to pretend they are doing it with a heavy heart. In addition to rolling out articles of impeachment that contain no crimes or impeachable offenses, the democrats also busted out their focus group-tested word “solemn.”
The Hill reports House Speaker Nancy Pelosi got the “solemn” ball rolling:
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Wednesday kickstarted the hours-long impeachment debate with a speech stating that the House must move to impeach President Trump in order to protect the republic.
Pelosi described the role of the House as being the “custodians of the Constitution,” saying that Trump put his own interests ahead of those of the nation when he invited a foreign nation to interfere in an upcoming presidential election that would benefit him politically.
“Our Founder’s vision is under threat from actions at the White House. That is why today as Speaker of the House, I sadly and solemnly open the debate on the impeachment of the president of the United States,” said Pelosi.
Luckily Pelosi’s face is dead from Botox injections so it’s easier for her to hide her glee.
Pelosi’s daughter tweeted out a video of her mother walking in with Michigan Rep. Debbie Dingell and, you guessed it, they did it solemnly:

Then, Dingell explained why she and the other female House democrats showed up dressed in black:
Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.), who was wearing a dark grey coat with black lapels, told The Hill that some female members of Congress typically wear red on Wednesdays to show solidarity with issues such as human trafficking and women’s heart health awareness.
But they decided to wear darker colors this week to mark the “somber” occasion, she said.
“Normally we wear red [on Wednesdays] and we said, ‘We can’t do that today.’ So, many of the women are in darker colors because it is a somber day,” said Dingell.
Somber? Oh girl, you done messed up. The word is “solemn.” Pelosi is going to be pissed because the democrats spent a lot of money coming up with their impeachment buzzword.
The democrats are selling this “solemn” lie so much that they showed up in black like it’s a wake. Ironically, they are actually marking the death of the democratic party. If they go ahead with the impeachment vote, and they will, it guarantees Trump’s reelection in 2020 as well as the House flipping back to Republican control. Pelosi will no longer be the Speaker of the House and then she truly will be in a solemn mood.
