Former NFL Player: ‘Donald Trump Will Get Over 20% of the Black Vote’

Via PJ Media

Former NFL player Jack Brewer says that he expects 20 percent or more of African Americans to vote for Donald Trump next year. He also believes that this incredibly high percentage will be responsible for Trump being reelected.

According to Brewer (who was also an Obama fundraiser and who is black himself), “[t]here is an awakening going on right now in the country. I’m going to take the guy who’s actually putting in the policies that are going to make life better for my young black son and my young black daughter, versus somebody who gives me lipservice — like, unfortunately, the Democrats have done for our community for years.”

“Donald Trump,” he goes on to say in the Washington Times newspaper, “will get over 20% of the black vote. That is what’s going to win the election. Why? Because there hasn’t been a Republican to even try to go in and talk to the black community. They don’t go there. They don’t even try. I think he’s trying, finally.”

Brewer went on to say that although he isn’t exactly a fan of Trump’s behavior on Twitter, “that doesn’t mean that I’m going to deny the policies. I know how far we’ve come. I want the end to be a better livelihood for us. So if I have a guy who may be a hot head and says things sometimes that make you mad, I’m going to choose policy over personality.”

Virginia, Birthplace of Our Liberty, Now Governed By Gun Control Tyrants

Via Townhall

Virginia is the birthplace of America’s independence and the state that gave us such towering patriots as Patrick Henry, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. Today, however, the Commonwealth is home to a governor and legislative majority that proposes to do what the British Crown never could: disarm the citizenry by force.

When reporting on parts of Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s proposals for gun control first broke over the summer, the barely believable extremism could easily have been mistaken as fake news. Now, after the November election which gave Democrat Northam majorities in both houses of the state legislature, it is clear the former practicing physician is deadly serious in targeting not only gun owners and retailers but even self-defense experts.

His objectives are sweeping, and include among other measures, bans on so-called “assault weapons,” high capacity magazines, and suppressors; universal background checks; handgun purchasing limits; a “red flag” law; and a ban on any self-defense classes that conceivably could be construed as hostile to government interests.

Historians Rip Into The New York Times After It Refuses To Address Requests For Corrections To The ‘1619 Project’

Via The Daily Caller

Historians expressed their dismay to the Daily Caller on Sunday after the New York Times refused to comply to their request for corrections involving the controversial “1619 Project.”

The “1619 Project” is made up of multiple stories and poems about racism and slavery. It suggests America’s “true founding” was when the first slaves arrived in 1619, and it “aims to reframe the country’s history.” The project has already been implemented in some public schools around the country.

The NYT refused to issue any corrections, it announced Thursday, despite a letter written by five historians concerned about the project’s “misleading” and “factual errors.” Some of the historians that signed onto the original letter expressed frustration and concern to the Daily Caller at the NYT’s unwillingness to issue corrections.

Profs. Victoria Bynum of Texas State University, James M. McPherson of Princeton University, James Oakes of the City University of New York, Sean Wilentz of Princeton University and Gordon S. Wood of Brown University signed the original letter published Thursday in the NYT.

“In the long run the Project will lose its credibility, standing, and persuasiveness with the nation as a whole,” Wood wrote in a follow-up letter he sent to the NYT following the response by Jake Silverstein, NYT Magazine’s editor-in-chief.

The letter was obtained by the Daily Caller Sunday.

Communist Black Supremacist Group ‘Black Lives Matter’ Protests Christmas Shopping in Attempt to ‘Disrupt White Capitalism’

Via WorldNet Daily

Honoring its six-year “Black Xmas” tradition, Black Lives Matter organized protests this Christmas season to disrupt holiday shoppers and encourage the disruption of so-called “white capitalism.”

According to The Daily Wire, one such demonstration was held just this past weekend with nearly a thousand activists taking to the streets of Los Angeles in the organization’s Mass March for Justice.

But the march was not all Black Lives Matter Los Angeles had planned in order to stick it to the man Sunday.

Instead, the protesters proceeded to descend on the Hollywood & Highland shopping center in an attempt to “interrupt commerce on the weekend before Christmas” and end with a bang their month-long campaign advocating that holiday shopping no longer be done at upscale, white-owned businesses.

“Together, we disrupted White capitalism, celebrated the Spirits of those whose bodies were stolen by state violence & honored our Ancestors and the Divine by heeding our #SacredDuty,” organizers wrote on Twitter.

Apparently it is now the sacred duty of the modern cultural activist to ruin the Christmas shopping experience of thousands of people who, in all likelihood, have absolutely no direct ties to the institution of 19th-century chattel slavery — or even modern American policing.

Millennials are Turning to Magic & Astrology for ‘Empowerment’ Because Liberal Ideology Failed Them

By Robert Bridge

Increasingly open to astrology, magic and sorcery while happy to virtue signal on behalf of any PC-saturated issue, the entire millenial generation seems wholly unequipped to face the daunting challenges of adulthood.

They may not know how to change a flat tire, cook a simple meal or stop living in their parents’ basement, but Millennials – the tech-savvy demographic typically born between the years 1981 to the early 2000s – seem increasingly preoccupied with subjects of a less practical nature ever since graduating from college.

Whether it is symptomatic of Trump Derangement Syndrome, some kind of New Age mysticism or perhaps spending four long years studying impractical liberal arts courses, it’s hard to say. But many people are looking to empower themselves with alternative techniques once ridiculed as sheer quackery.
