The liberal media has been on a campaign to discredit him, Hollywood has worked overtime to demonize him, and the democrats impeached him on imaginary crimes, but they haven’t been able to topple Donald Trump. In fact, after this massive effort to poison the people on President Trump, he was just named the most admired man in America for the first time. Just imagine if the left hadn’t spent the past three years slandering and attacking him as “Super Hitler.”
Every year Gallup asks people to name the man and woman they admire the most. Trump missed out on the honor in the first two years of his presidency, but now that people understand how full of crap the coordinated effort against him has been, he finally gets his due. The only smudge on this honor is that he has to share it with Barack Obama, but a solid case can be made that Obama isn’t entirely a man so Trump wins.
This is from Gallup:
Barack Obama and Donald Trump are tied this year as the most admired man. It is Obama’s 12th time in the top spot versus the first for Trump.
Americans’ choice for most admired man this year is sharply divided along party lines: 41% of Democrats name Obama, while 45% of Republicans choose Trump. Relatively few Democrats choose Trump and relatively few Republicans pick Obama, while independents’ choices are divided about equally between the two men.
Then thing get hilarious:
After Obama and Trump, no other man was mentioned by more than 2% of respondents. The remainder of the top 10 for men this year includes former President Jimmy Carter, businessman Elon Musk, philanthropist and Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Pope Francis, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, California Rep. Adam Schiff, the Dalai Lama, and investor Warren Buffett.
Did anyone else notice that Joe Biden is not on this list? He’s supposed to be the democratic party’s frontrunner and the guy who can beat Trump and he didn’t even get one half of one percent. How is someone who is that loathed supposed to take out the most admired man in America?
The female side of things was also pretty funny:
Historically, it has been more common for a former first lady to be named the most admired woman than for a former president to be named most admired man. Michelle Obama is the sixth former first lady to win…
The 10% naming Obama this year is down from 15% last year.
Current first lady Melania Trump finished second this year, mentioned by 5%, with former talk show host Oprah Winfrey, Clinton and teen climate change activist Greta Thunberg named by 3% of U.S. adults each. The remainder of the top 10 for women includes Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley.
That’s some pretty slim pickins for Elizabeth Warren who is also considered a democratic party frontrunner. My guess is that she won’t be president or even the democrats’ nominee with a near complete lack of admiration like that.
It’s also pretty humorous that both Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff had sub-2% admiration levels considering the hysterical left was cheering them on to impeach President Trump. That just goes to show how little support the impeachment sham really has.
President Trump being the most admired man in America is a monumental feat considering how much slander and fake news has been directed against him. Obama winning was never a big deal because the liberal media acted as his personal PR firm, praising him as a saint and the messiah. Trump has had to deal with being compared to Hitler and he still managed to come out on top. This poll signals the actual death of the legacy media because it shows people no longer buy into their garbage.
