Whatever President Trump is for, democrats are against, and whatever President Trump is against, democrats are for. That’s why, with escalating tensions between Iran and Trump, democrats are fully supporting the brutal Iranian terrorist regime. So much so in fact that Loon Squad members Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar sent out tweets that are almost exactly the same as one from the Iranian foreign minister. Democrats now take their cues from our enemy, which means they are the enemy of the American people as well.
Iran started this with attacks against our military bases and embassy in Iraq, so the President ordered a strike that took out Iran’s terror general Soleimani as he was plotted further attacks. Iran has since threatened to hit targets on American soil, including the White House. President Trump gave them a gentle reminder of why that would be a bad idea:

This prompted Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to accuse President Trump of war crimes:

-Targeting cultural sites is a WAR CRIME;
-Whether kicking or screaming, end of US malign presence in West Asia has begun.

Zarif is an insane enemy of this country, so there’s nothing terribly shocking that he’s acting crazy and threatening America. AOC and Omar are U.S. Representatives so the fact that sent almost the same tweets as the Iranian foreign minister is deeply disturbing.
And for the record, all 3 of these radical leftist kooks are wrong. They are most likely referring to Protocol 1 of the Geneva Conventions, which say:
Article 53 — Protection of cultural objects and of places of worship
Without prejudice to the provisions of the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict of 14 May 1954, and of other relevant international instruments, it is prohibited:
(a) to commit any acts of hostility directed against the historic monuments, works of art or places of worship which constitute the cultural or spiritual heritage of peoples;
(b) to use such objects in support of the military effort;
(c) to make such objects the object of reprisals.
Trump hasn’t directed any attacks against Iranian cultural or historic monuments or even threatened to. He said there are potential targets that are of importance to Iranian culture. This could be one of the many Iranian palaces infested by Iran’s leadership. These would be legitimate military targets that also have cultural significance.
The White House is culturally and historically significant to the American people and Iran just threatened to blow it up. Where’s the cries of “war crime” from AOC and Omar over that? Oh yeah, I forget, they are on Iran’s side.
It is not a war crime to warn Iran that there will be severe repercussions if they attack us. It is however treason for members of the U.S. government to side with our enemies. Trump is being the President of the United States, while AOC and Omar are acting as agents for a hostile foreign government.
