We’re in day 2 of the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump and it has been so mind-numbingly boring there is almost nothing to report. So far it’s pretty much been Shifty Adam Schiff regurgitating the same garbage he’s been spewing for the past 6 months. We’ve already heard it 100 times before and we don’t care. With nothing exciting going on, fake news CNN has taken to making some stuff up. One of their political analysts made up an embarrassing conversation between 2 Republican Senators and presented it as reality.
Joe Lockhart is a CNN polictal analyst and since you can’t spell “analyst” without “anal” this popped out of his ass:
Overheard convo between two Republican Senators who only watch Fox News. “is this stuff real? I haven’t heard any of this before. I thought it was all about a server. If half the stuff Schiff is saying is true, we’re up shit’s creek. Hope the White House has exculpatory evidence

Get it? Lockhart is trying to say that Adam Schiff is presenting such a compelling case that even Republican Senators are impressed. So much so that they are now leaning towards removing President Trump from office. Huge if true, but it’s clearly not true. Lockhart never overheard this conversation because it never happened. He turned his wishful thinking into fake news reporting.
After getting dragged on Twitter for being a lying sack of crap, Lockhart finally came clean:

What a brilliant defense for lying. Lockhart is saying because he believes something ridiculous, it’s okay for him to make stuff up to support that mistaken belief. Somehow that excuse didn’t fly and Lockhart tried again:

Oh, it’s satire. He should have mentioned that from the git-go instead of trying to present it as a real event. It also brings the bullshit full-circle as Lockhart is attempting to praise bullshitter Adam Schiff. If you remember, Shifty kicked off the House impeachment sham by making up a conversation between President Trump and Ukraine president Zelensky. This is satire in praise of a satirist, or more accurately a lair lying in support of another liar’s lies.
The saddest part about this is Lockhart says he had to lie to call out Fox News covering up (lying) for the President. In other words, he claims he used a lie to expose a lie. CNN has that fake news thing down to a science.
A good rebuttal to this would be to point out all of the Senators who only watch CNN, but nobody watches CNN so that would be another lie.
So satire is now considered legitimate journalism by CNN? Okay, I overheard a convo between 2 CNN political analysts: “Is this stuff real? Who cares? We’re trying to undo the results of a free and fair election. Our hurt feelings over the will of the American people is more important than the truth.”
The only difference between my made-up conversation and Lockhart’s is that my “satire” almost certainly happened.
I would say that CNN’s fake news addiction requires an intervention, but most of the other liberal media networks are bullshit junkies too. The only thing that’s going to happen if CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC get into a room together is a massive fake news overdose.
