In a clear sign that House democrats know their impeachment scam failed, they are now making excuses. These aren’t just regular excuses, but rather excuses the apply liberal logic. Both House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Liar Adam Schiff say that even if President Trump is acquitted by the Senate in his impeachment trial, he’s not really acquitted. Pelosi and Schiff will have to come up with some other excuse to explain why Trump is still President after not being acquitted, but these are people skilled in the arts of bullshit.

“A fair trial requires witnesses. A fair trial, an impartial oath requires witnesses,” said Schiff. “No trial, no vindication. No vindication for the president or anyone else. The Constitution requires a fair trial.”
And then Pelosi:

“[President Trump] will not be acquitted. You can’t be acquitted if you don’t have a trial and you don’t have a trail if you don’t have witnesses and documentation and that,” said Pelosi.
You got have “that.” Can’t have no trail without no “that.” What in the hell is she even talking about? At this point does she even know?
Okay, so the liberal logic goes that when Trump is acquitted by the Senate he’s not really acquitted because the trial wasn’t really a trial at all because trials have to have witnesses.
Well, wait explains the 18 witnesses democrats called in putting together their articles impeachment? They said they presented an overwhelming case against Trump, so why do they suddenly need more witnesses? Why should the Senate have to do the work the House claims they already did?
There are no real answers to those questions, which is why the democrats failed so miserably in trying to undo the results of the 2016 election.
The House democrats chose not to pursue certain witnesses because their subpoenas might get caught up in court battles. Instead, they rushed through an impeachment with no crimes or supporting evidence. Now that their case is predictably going down in flames, they need an excuse for looking like fools and wasting everyone’s time.
The thing is, acting like a bigger fool is the wrong way to not look like a fool in the first place. The Pelosi/Schiff strategy is to simply pretend that Trump was never acquitted. They don’t get full credit for this ploy because they stole it from ostriches, who put their head in the sand to avoid the reality around them.
Pelosi was saying that Trump has been “impeached forever” and now she’s claiming he’s never been acquitted, even before his eventual acquittal.
This is actually quite fitting. The impeachment started with the illusion that President Trump did something wrong and ends with the delusion that he wasn’t acquitted.
