Well this is certainly crazy. Actually bonkers as sh*t is closer to what Grand Coup-Bah Adam Schiff said in the closing arguments of President Trump’s Senate impeachment trial. According to Shifty, if Trump isn’t removed from office he will give Alaska to Russia for some reason. As if that’s not bad enough, Schiff also contends that Trump will move to Florida and let his son-in-law Jared Kushner run the country and start wars. If there was any truth to this stuff, you’d think democrats would have included it in their articles of impeachment.

Schiff said if the Senate doesn’t remove President Trump from office for the baseless crime-free articles of impeachment the House passed, this would happen:

Wow, just wow. If there was anyone who thought the democrats’ impeachment effort was serious, they don’t think that now.
How exactly would a President of the United States go about giving Alaska to another country and why the hell would Trump do this? Just going by Schiff’s own conspiracy theory, Russia wants Trump to be President, so he wouldn’t need to give them a whole state to get their help in the election. As insane as this is, there’s simply no incentive.
The Jared Kushner thing is just as crazy. The President doesn’t have the power to declare war and Trump has never tried to do this. Why if he isn’t removed from office would suddenly try to give his son-in-law war making power?
After saying these bonkers things, Schiff admitted that the articles impeachment made no charges of actual crimes against the President, adding it would, “be absurd, more than absurd but dangerous” to leave Trump in office.
So Trump giving Alaska to Russia is rational, but not impeaching him for no particular reason is absurd? I’m starting to think Schiff doesn’t know what words mean.
Here’s what I think happened: With their impeachment effort tanking, the democrats put together a focus group and found that most people didn’t think impeaching President Trump because he would probably win reelection in 2020 was a good enough reason to remove him from office.
The democrats panicked and told Schiff to come up with another more dire reason to oust Trump. Schiff didn’t have enough time to prepare something coherent so he pulled Alaska out of his ass and here we are.
You can’t blame Schiff for swinging for the fences, even if he whiffed, because once this is over, he’s in deep shit. The Senate Intelligence Committee has already announced they will be investigating how this sham impeachment came to be and plan to call the whistleblower to testify. After all of the colluding and lying Schiff has done, he’s going to end up in prison.
