Tuesday night’s democratic party primary debate was so chaotic that it’s impossible to tell if there was a winner. Picking the loser however is quite easy. It was hands down Joe Biden who continued to spew his nonsense regarding guns. In a stunning moment, Crazy Joe claimed that since 2007 a whopping 150 million Americans have been “slaughtered” by guns. That’s approximately half the population of the United States and if they are all gone, why is there still traffic and long lines at Chik-fil-A?

The moderators completely lost control on the debate and it came down to candidates shouting over each other to be heard. At some point, Biden jammed this gun control rant into the fray:
“I’m the only one that ever got it done nationally,” said Biden of gun control. “I beat the NRA twice. I got assault weapons banned. I got magazines that could not hold more than 10 rounds in them. I got them eliminated.”
Earlier today we reported that Biden was questioning why anyone would need a bullet that could hold 100 rounds. He has slightly modified this position by claiming that he got magazines that “could not hold more than 10 rounds in them” eliminated. I’m not sure if he realizes what he said, but he’s claiming that he got magazines that hold 10 rounds or less banned. He’s supposed be against magazines that hold more than ten rounds, but whatever, there was more zaniness to come.
“I led that fight but my friend to my right,” said Biden motioning to Bernie Sanders. “And others have in fact gave into the gun manufacturers absolute immunity.”
In reality, Biden pronounced “manufacturers” as “man-a-fac-shurs.” He would do this several more times.
“Imagine if I stood here and said we’d give immunity to the drug companies. We give immunity tobacco companies,” Biden said.
If it seems like I’m making a lot of typos in transcribing Biden’s words, I am not. His sentence structure is awkward and he leaves out a lot of words that would help make sense of his lunacy.
“That has caused carnage on our streets. 150 million people have been killed since 2007 when Bernie voted to exempt the gun manufacturers from liability,” claimed Biden.
150 million Americans have been murdered by guns in the past 13 years? That is some serious carnage if true (it’s not). That breaks down to 11,538,462 people shot to death every single year. You’d think a body count like that would make the news.
There’s around 4 million babies born in the U.S. every year and if we can pretend that people don’t die of anything else besides gun shot wounds, that means we have lost 7.5 million people in this country every year for the past 13 years. That would mean that America has lost a third of it’s population in a little over a decade. I honestly haven’t notice that many people missing. Presumably they’ve been replaced by illegal aliens.
In reality there are about 8,000 gun-related homicides per year, which would make a little over 100,000 people killed by someone using a firearm since 2007. Biden was only 149.9 million off on his estimate.
Biden capped off this factually-challenged rant with a threat:
“I want to tell you, If I’m elected, NRI I’m coming for you and gun manufacturers I’m gonna take you on,” said Biden.
What the hell is the NRI? Nitwits Ranting Incoherently? Isn’t that Joe’s organization?
Curiously, neither the moderators nor any of the other candidates bothered to question any of the bullshit that came out of Biden’s mouth. I suspect the voters of South Carolina were paying attention however and that can only mean more losing for Biden’s floundering campaign.
