Today’s episode is a great one. In fact I believe it to be one of the best ones ever! At least it really made my day. I mean who wouldn’t want to wake up at 5am and watch a thug get shot in the head?
Police release graphic bodycam video of fatal shooting
SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Police Department released a highly produced video Wednesday that includes video from an officer’s body camera showing his partner fatally shooting a man who was resisting arrest.
The video, which was posted to YouTube, is introduced by San Diego Police Chief David Nisleit and includes an animated map, video from a smart street light camera and video from a police body camera. Nesleit said the video shows a shooting that happened on Jan. 24, 2020, when police tried to take a man into custody near the intersection of 54th Street and College Grove Drive.
Two patrol officer pulled over after observing Toby Diller, 31, acting erratically while drinking from an open container, Nesleit said.
It would be pretty difficult to drink from a closed container. Ha! Sorry Nesleit. I’m just messing with you. I couldn’t resist.
The street light video shows Diller on the street corner when a police patrol car pulls up. As officers get out of the car, Diller runs away from them into the street and the officer chase him on foot.
The officers in the patrol car were identified in captions as Officers Downing and Johnson. The video includes Downing’s body camera, which begins as the patrol car comes to a stop and show the two officers chasing Diller. When the officers catch up with Diller he begins struggling. At one point, Downing says, “He’s got my gun! Shoot him!”
An officer can be seen pulling out his firearm and shooting Diller in the head from about two feet away. Police identified the officer who fired his gun as Officer Johnson.
Actually, it was more like a couple inches. But hey, I’m not complaining. I don’t want to split any hairs. This is great stuff! So let’s watch. The actual shooting occurs at about 4:34.
Awesome! But I really have to hand it to Diller. I mean for his stick-to-it-iveness. Here’s a guy who was just shot point blank in the friggin’ head and he still tries to get up and run! And just when you think he might have bled out he resists police efforts to place him in handcuffs. If this thug had focused that kind of determination on something positive he would have gone far. But alas.
After the shooting, the officers handcuffed Diller. When paramedics arrived, they began treating Diller, but he died at the scene, according to the YouTube video.
“Treating Diller.” I wonder how they did that. Try to scoop his brains back into his head with a spoon?
Some liberal website called ‘Incendiary News’ is, of course, calling this murder. I quote, ‘Neighbors recognized the brutal and excessive force used by SDPD for a simple arrest, telling Incendiary that Toby was shot while enjoying his Friday, drinking a beer to wind down. Najaiah, a resident of the apartments in front of the murder scene, said that Toby was holding only his beer at the moment of the arrest, and that he was shot while face down.’
Well first off, it’s illegal to drink beer in public. Should you be shot for it? No, of course not. But that’s not entirely what happened as we just saw. They then spew this bullshit:
‘In the officers’ reports, they allege that Toby sprinted during their initial contact, causing the officers to give chase, at which point officer Downing wrestled Toby to the ground. Downing claims that during this struggle on the ground, Toby ripped the gun from his holster. He alerted his partner to this, at which point Officer Johnson fired a fatal shot at Toby. The police intentionally distort facts and lie in their reports, and are not to be seen as credible.’
Go watch the video you liberal imbeciles (redundant, I know), and you’ll see that’s exactly what happened.
