City Of Des Moines Wants To Make Sure No Minority Criminal Is Ever Arrested Again

If you are a non-white scumbag, you may want to consider moving to Des Moines, Iowa. The city is about to pass a law that would criminalize racial profiling by police. This guarantees that no cop is ever going to pull over or detain a minority again. That’s another way of saying the city is basically decriminalizing all crime committed by non-whites. And you thought sanctuary city polices were terrible.

The Des Moines Register reports:

Des Moines is on the cusp of passing an ordinance that would make racial profiling by police a disciplinary offense, up to and including firing.

If approved, the new rules would allow the city to discipline an officer or employee who was found to racially profile someone, meaning the person’s race, skin color, ethnicity, religion or national origin was “an appreciably motivating factor” in the city employee’s enforcement.

The ordinance would amend the city’s human rights code, adding in a definition of racial profiling and calling it an “illegal discriminatory municipal practice.”

A racial profiling violation “may include serving as cause for discipline up to and including termination from employment…

…the Des Moines Police Department will handle complaints made against its officers, but people can also file complaints with the Civil and Human Rights Department.

It doesn’t take a genius to see how bad this law is, but it does take someone who isn’t a liberal.

Officers will know that any time they pull over or detain a minority for questioning, there’s a good chance they could lose their job. What cop on the force is going to risk his or her livelihood to arrest someone who is a minority? It won’t matter if there a car full of black teenagers smoking crack and firing guns out the window, the police will ignore it.

The threshold for establishing a racial profiling violation is extremely low and the fact that people can file these grievances means any minority “Dindu nuffin” can effectively get an officer fired. Has any black person in the history of criminal justice ever not screamed “racism!” after getting busted with a pound of weed, a gun with the serial numbers filed off, and a body in the trunk?

Not only won’t any cop in Des Moines ever try to arrest a minority, another unintended consequence of this law is that it will be open season on white folks. Police departments have quotas, not just for traffic tickets but also for arrests, and that means they’re going to have to crack down on whitey.

To help the men and women of the Des Moines police department accept this decriminalization of minority crime, the city also plans on reeducating all officers:

If approved, the other motion would include implicit bias, de-escalation and cultural competency curricula in employee training. (The city announced in October that all employees will undergo implicit bias training.)

Sounds like a hoot.

This terrible law is going to both invite crime to Des Moines and repel officers as they look for jobs in other cities. Nobody is going to want to be a cop when being a cop can get you fired.
