Asian Senators Tammy Duckworth and Mazie Hirono have sent an angry letter demanding the federal government do something about people blaming Asians for the Chinese coronavirus. Actually, it’s unclear what the purpose of the letter is from these whacked out democrats. I suspect it’s just another way to attack President Trump, disguised as fake outrage. Whatever the case is, they are pretending to pissed about something and that qualifies as news to the liberal media.
NBC reports this important thing:
A dozen Senate Democrats on Friday called on the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights to take “robust” action against the uptick in anti-Asian sentiment and attacks since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
In a letter shared exclusively with NBC Asian America, the lawmakers urged the chair of the commission, Catherine E. Lhamon, to issue guidance to federal agencies, like the Citizenship and Immigration Services or the State Department, on preventing and addressing anti-Asian racism and xenophobia.
I wonder why democrats think the federal government has any authority to stop people from having anti-anything sentiments. Anything that is is actually a crime, like assault, vandalism, threats, etc… is already illegal but people being pissed off at China for unleashing this plague is protected free speech. Once again, I have answered my own question: these are democrats demanding a crackdown on sentiment and they are a party that hates our Constitutional rights.
Somehow this gets dumber:
“In order to reduce the dangerous and hateful spread of anti-Asian sentiment that is on the rise during this pandemic, we respectfully request that USCCR issue such guidance without delay, and that it take into account language accessibility for Asian Americans with limited English proficiency,” the letter read.
Oh, so this is all about accommodating people who don’t speak English? Is it weird that Mazie Hirono had a hand in this considering how poorly she speaks and understands English?
And like I said, this is really a fancy new way to attack President Trump:
The lawmakers’ document points to language like “Chinese Virus” and “Wuhan Virus, used by President Donald Trump and other Republican officials, as a contributing factor to the stigmatization of the Asian American community.
Because NBC is nothing more than democratic party propaganda, they used this single anecdote to prove that President and Republicans are responsible for anti-Asian hate crimes:
As the letter notes, Asian Americans have encountered a heightened number of attacks, with the most violent cases targeting the victim’s identity. At a Sam’s Club in Midland, Texas, last month, for example, Jose L. Gomez allegedly tried to kill an Asian American family, stabbing three, “because he thought the family was Chinese and infecting people with the coronavirus,” according to FBI documents…
I don’t think a Mexican lunatic stabbing Asians proves what NBC and the democrats think it does. It certainly doesn’t point the finger at President Trump or white supremacy like they claim.
Elizabeth Warren slapped her name on this pointless letter as well, indicating that she is no longer pretending to be an Indian princess and now possibly identifies as a Ninja.
In reality, this is the democrats once again pushing Chinese Communist Party propaganda, accusing President Trump of racism for rightly assigning blame for the coronavirus on China. What makes this super-shitty is that the democrats want the federal government to basically stop Americans from believing the truth that this pandemic was unleashed by the lying Chinese government.
