The liberal media has been sleeping on the story of a woman who has credibly accused Joe Biden of sexual assault. In an effort to not appear as giant hypocrites, the New York Times has decided to look into these allegations. Their conclusion? Creepy Joe didn’t do it, but President Trump is a serial rapist. Who saw that coming? Probably everyone.
Joe Biden is a democrat so naturally the New York Times can’t give people the impression it’s bad when he sexually assaults women. Everybody knows it’s only outrageous when Republicans do that kind of thing. As such, the NYT did a “deep dive” into these allegations:
A former Senate aide who last year accused Joseph R. Biden Jr. of inappropriate touching has made an allegation of sexual assault against the former vice president, the Democratic Party’s presumptive presidential nominee this fall.
The former aide, Tara Reade, who briefly worked as a staff assistant in Mr. Biden’s Senate office, told The New York Times that in 1993, Mr. Biden pinned her to a wall in a Senate building, reached under her clothing and penetrated her with his fingers. A friend said that Ms. Reade told her the details of the allegation at the time. Another friend and a brother of Ms. Reade’s said she told them over the years about a traumatic sexual incident involving Mr. Biden.
After interviewing Reade and dozens of people who corroborated her story, the NYT determined that her story is bullshit because:
No other allegation about sexual assault surfaced in the course of reporting, nor did any former Biden staff members corroborate any details of Ms. Reade’s allegation. The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden.
Plus Biden’s people denied it ever happened:
A spokeswoman for Mr. Biden said the allegation was false.
“Vice President Biden has dedicated his public life to changing the culture and the laws around violence against women. He authored and fought for the passage and reauthorization of the landmark Violence Against Women Act. He firmly believes that women have a right to be heard — and heard respectfully. Such claims should also be diligently reviewed by an independent press. What is clear about this claim: It is untrue. This absolutely did not happen,” side Biden’s deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield.
Besides, as the NYT points out, it’s President Trump who is the real sexual predator:
President Trump has been accused of sexual assault and misconduct by more than a dozen women, who have described a pattern of behavior that went far beyond the accusations against Mr. Biden.
This is the actual argument that the NYT is putting forth: Yeah, the allegations against Biden are solid but he says he didn’t do it and even if he did it’s not as bad as the allegations against President Trump.
That’s what the liberal media is pretending qualifies as impartial journalism. They did leave out so important facts in coming to this conclusion however. Tara Reade describes herself as a “third-generation Democrat” while Trump’s accusers are all whacko leftist activists. A democrat accusing a democrat carries a lot more credibility than the politically-motivated allegations against President Trump. Also, none of the accusations against Trump have any corroborating evidence.
This piece of crap journalism gets even worse because this was in the original article but was stealth-edited out because it was unflattering to Creepy Joe:
No other allegation about sexual assault surfaced in the course of our reporting, nor did any former Biden staff corroborate Reade’s allegation. We found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Biden, beyond hugs, kisses and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable.
So besides all the hair sniffing, groping, and forced kissing, the NYT couldn’t find a pattern of sexual misconduct? Brilliant.
“Believe all women” comes with a huge asterisk when it comes to democrats.
