All across the country people are protesting because the government will not allow them to earn a living and feed their families. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, like all democrats think these people are being stupid and putting their own lives at risk. If there’s one thing AOC knows, it’s stupid and she has an alternate idea for a protest. She’s urging people to refuse to go back to work after the coronavirus lockdown is lifted, which presumably she thinks will help everyone feed their families.
I didn’t think it was possible for AOC to get any dumber, but apparently she still has plenty of idiocy left in the reserve tanks. Check out this interview with Vice TV:

“When we talk about this idea of ‘reopening society,’” starred Ocasio-Cortez.
For some reason, AOC did finger quotes for “reopening society.”
“You know, only in America- does the President, when the President tweets about liberation, does he mean go back to work,” Ocasio-Cortez continued.
AOC hit “liberation” with the finger quotes too. I’m not sure she understands what that gesture means.
“When we have this discussion about going back or reopening, I think a lot people should just say ‘no, we’re not going back to that.’ We’re not going back to working 70 hour weeks just so that we can put food on the table and not even feel any sort of semblance of security in our lives,” Ocasio-Cortez finished.
They you have it folks: AOC says if you truly want to liberate yourself and put food on the table, don’t work.
AOC is a multi-faceted moron so there’s a lot to unpack from the brief piece of idiocy.
First, if people who can’t work right now are unable to put food on the table, how in God’s name will they be able to if they refuse to work after the lockdown is lifted? A lot of people are getting unemployment right now, but once the coronavirus hysteria is gone, they won’t be getting those checks any more. You have to be looking for a job and you can’t turn down employment if you want them gubmint checks.
Second, very few people work 70 hours a week and if they do, they’re earning killer overtime and have no problem paying the bills. If you work 70 hours a week and can barely put food on the table, shop smarter and move some place cheaper. Or better yet, don’t make a career out of a minimum wage starting job.
Third, having a job offers way more security than not having a job. You get a paycheck, you know you’re eating. You don’t get a paycheck, you’re at the mercy of successful dumpster diving behind Bob’s Big Boy.
Forth, when has AOC ever worked 70 hours a week? As a bartender? She hasn’t even worked a total of 70 hours in 2 years of being a U.S. Representative. This is the kind of thing a dumb radical leftist, who still gets a paycheck, tells other dumber radical leftists.
OK, lead by example, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez. Refuse to go back to work when the coronavirus lockdown is lifted. If Nancy Pelosi calls you to say the House is in session, tell her to pound Botox up her ass. If she calls you to the floor for a vote, text her a bunch of frowny face and middle finger emojis. If you’re going to talk the talk, you gotta walk the walk.
Of course AOC can’t walk and talk at the same time. This is a skill she hasn’t mastered like making sense or being informed.
AOC and the democrats have flipped out that President Trump is supporting protesters who want the country opened back up so they can get back to work, claiming they will literally be killed. Yet here is AOC telling people to refuse to work, which will definitely kill people with extreme poverty and suicides.
