Over the weekend the credible sexual assault allegation against Joe Biden got a lot more credible with irrefutable corroborating evidence. Nancy Pelosi doesn’t care that she’s backing a rapist because he’s a fellow democrat, so the hypocritical House Speaker has formally endorsed Creep Joe. Given the severe amount of baggage Biden carries, the best reason Pelosi could give for voting for him is that he knows an black guy.
Pelosi made this endorsement video that was almost certainly written by Biden’s campaign. It touches on all the exact same talking points in Barack Obama’s endorsement: A) Joe is a working class hero because his dad was an unemployable bum and B) Joe is practically a war hero because he had a son in the Navy.
Then there was this garbage:
“I want to tell you about the Joe Biden I’ve seen with parents of victims of gun violence listening and offering them empathy, grace and courage that he can give as someone with the terrible understanding as a father who has lost children of his own,” said Pelosi.
Pelosi seems to be insinuating that Biden lost kids to “gun violence” which is untrue. He lost two and a wife in a traffic accident and another to brain cancer. What Pelosi is saying here is: “Joe is presidential material because his kids died” which ain’t much of a qualification.
As if that wasn’t unimpressive enough, the other reason Pelosi thinks Biden should be president is both underwhelming and kind of racist:
“I’ve seen the pride that Joe took in president Obama,” said Pelosi.
Biden took pride in Obama? Did Joe own him? That’s some weird phrasing right there. Pelosi is presenting this as if Obama was a possession of Biden’s, which would be racist if a Republican said it.
On top of which, Pelosi’s pitch is: “vote for Joe, he knows a black guy.”
This is an important message for the democratic party. Sure, they have put up another rich old white person as their candidate, but Joe is “diversity adjacent” since he has a one-way friendship with a non-white person.
After careful market research and focus groups the democratic party has determined that democratic voters are dumb enough to believe super-white Joe Biden is the next best thing to an actual person of color.
Pelosi went on to give Biden credit for saving ObamaCare as a private citizen, something he definitely didn’t do, and stopping the coronavirus, which is another thing he didn’t do.
“For these and other reasons, I’m proud to endorse Joe Biden for president. A leader who is the personification of hope and courage, values, authenticity, and integrity,” Pelosi said.
She does know she’s talking about Joe Biden, right? For a sexual predator, flip-flopper, plagiarizer, liar, and lunatic, none of these words actually fit him.
When Hillary Clinton was running in 2016, neither she nor any of her endorsers could name an accomplishment or quality that would give people a reason to vote for her. In 2020, democrats aren’t about to make that same mistake so going forward it’s: Joe knows a black guy and his kids died.”
