There was a heat wave in Southern California last weekend and people flocked to beaches North and South of Los Angeles to escape the never-ending “stay at home” order. Though he admitted there were no problems, California Governor Gavin “Smirky Boy” Newsom has ordered that all state and local beaches be shut down, because f*ck anyone who wants some sunshine and fresh air. Democrats constantly say they will “follow the science” with regards to lifting the fascist lockdown, but the science couldn’t be more clear that being outdoors is the best thing possible to avoid getting the coronavirus.
Yesterday, during his daily coronavirus briefing, Gov. Newsom was outraged at pictures of Southern Californians enjoying the beaches of Orange and Ventura counties over the weekend. Though he admitted there were no problems with people at the beach, he went ahead and shut the beaches down, as ABC 7 reports:
Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Thursday a “hard close” of all beaches in Orange County after seeing thousands of people flock to coastal cities over the past weekend.
The order takes effect for all local and state beaches in the county beginning May 1.
During last weekend’s heat wave across Southern California, a number of beaches in Orange County were visibly crowded with thousands of people. The sight clearly disturbed the governor, who once again admonished beachgoers during his daily coronavirus press conference.
“People that are congregating there that weren’t practicing physical distancing that may go back to their community outside of Orange County and may not even know that they contracted the disease and now they put other people at risk, put our hospital system at risk,” said Newsom.
Actually, California hospitals are empty because the coronavirus scare never lived up to the hype.
“We can’t be driven by ideology, we have to be driven by the spread of this disease,” Newsom said.
Being sick of sitting on your couch, with no way to support yourself, is not an ideology, it’s the core of human existence. Californians have bee quarantined for a month and half now, and the numbers don’t come close too justifying the lockdown.
In a state of 33 million, less than 2,000 people have died from the coronavirus. The first reported coronavirus death in California happened on February 6. In that same timespan, more Californians have died from falling coconuts and other cartoon-inspired accidents.
Since Gov. Newsom has indicated that science will decide when he lifts the pointless lockdown, maybe he should look at the actual science. First, there are the hard numbers above that show California’s “safer-at-home” order is a lie.
Then there’s the scientific fact that not one single person in the entire world has contracted coronavirus from being outdoors. Plus, there’s the hard science that sunshine and fresh air are the enemy of the coronavirus. This is a virus that thrives in confined spaces with no airflow and cooler temperatures. A day at the beach during a heatwave is the perfect place to never get infected.
While we’re looking at at the data, here’s an interesting statistic:
California did everything right, shutting down the state before it needed to. Deaths per 100,000: 5.
Florida and Texas did everything wrong, acting too late, leaving beaches open. Deaths per 100,000: Florida: 6, Texas: 3.

The science doesn’t lie: the draconian lockdowns had absolutely nothing with containing the virus.
The biggest problem here is that when democrats say they “believe in science” what they mean is they believe in “liberal science” which is a much different thing. Actual science is hard data and irrefutable facts based on repeatable experiments. Liberal science is feelings based on idiocy and ignorance.
