Joe Biden hasn’t been out of his basement since the coronavirus hysteria began. He’s been doing a lot of Skype and Zoom work making an ass of himself, but on Memorial Day he thought he’d crawl out of his bunker and bring his ass-show on the road. You wouldn’t think laying a wreath would have a lot of opportunities for Biden to embarrass himself, but being a clown is Crazy Joe’s speciality.
Biden and his wife Jill showed up at a memorial park near his house in Delaware to lay a wreath in honor of soldiers who died in service to the country. All was going well until Biden emerged from his SUV looking like a complete dork. The former VP was wearing a black mask that covered about 80% of his face, despite the fact that he was outdoors and nowhere near anyone else. My guess is he was wearing the mask in an attempt to spite President Trump, who understands masks don’t do shit to prevent contracting coronavirus.

President Trump also retweeted that because…well, Biden is a goofball.
Biden and wife Jill approached the memorial, with Joe struggling to hang on to the wreath. This was obviously a badly staged event because when the Biden’s got up to the memorial there just happened to be an empty stand waiting for him to put the wreath on. What are the chances?
The biggest Joe moment came however when he found himself talking to someone who is presumably a veteran. Then again, maybe he isn’t.
“Oh I’m sorry. I didn’t recognize you,” said Biden.
“That’s alright. No need to apologize. We’re all pulling for you 100%,” said the man.
Biden then mumbled incoherently and trailed off into an uncomfortable silence. Eventually man told a very big lie to break the awkwardness.
“You got the whole country behind you,” the man said.
No, he really doesn’t.
With that, Biden saluted the man, who was dressed in civilian clothes.
“Thanks for your service,” Biden said.
Biden pointed at he man and then gave him a fist pump, which indicates thinks he served in the Jersey Shore Brigade.
Why in God’s name would Biden salute anyone? He is a civilian, who has never served because he conveniently had asthma during the Vietnam War, and the man was dressed in civilian clothes indicating he is no longer active military. It’s absolutely ridiculous for Biden to salute this man, even if he did at one time serve in the military.
The President of the United States salutes active members of the military because he is the Commander-in-Chief. A guy who holds no elected position whatsoever and has been hiding out in his basement for almost 3 months shouldn’t be saluting anyone.
Biden’s handlers put together this photo-op with a very simple set of instructions: Lay the wreath, pretend like you give a shit, and then leave quickly without making an ass of yourself. Even with the seemingly easy task, Biden managed to fail. Imagine how badly Joe is going to do when he actually has to campaign or face Trump in a debate and he doesn’t have a script guiding him.
