The left is running out of Trumpy things that they can pretend are outrageous so now they are just making things up. Last Sunday, Trump played golf for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic started and that caused fainting and perl-clutching among the liberal media elites. Somehow that wasn’t enough so they switched it to lying that the President actually hit the links on Memorial Day. Considering Trump visited two veterans cemeteries, this should be an easy debunking but the liberal media is in no mood to convey the truth when it comes to The President.
First up, there is former democratic party candidate Julian Castro’s communications director being full of shit:

For the record, Trump played golf on Sunday May 24. On Monday May 25, Memorial Day, he was doing this:
As Americans observe a subdued Memorial Day, President Trump visited Fort McHenry in Baltimore to remember those soldiers who have fallen in service of the country.
Fort McHenry is best known for its role in the War of 1812. American soldiers there repelled a British attack on the Baltimore Harbor in 1814. The attack inspired Francis Scott Key, who witnessed the battle, to write the poem “Defence of Fort M’Henry,” which provided the lyrics for “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Just before speaking in Baltimore, Trump paid his respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. Trump briefly placed his hand on the wreath, before standing at attention and saluting as a military bugler played taps.
Also for the record, Joe Biden was hiding in his basement on Sunday, the same day Trump was playing golf. Then, while Trump was at Arlington National Cemetery and Host McHenry, Joe went to a cemetery in Delaware and made an ass of himself. If the liberal media was going to do an honest apples-to-apples comparison of Biden and Trump, it would look like this:

Joe Biden played golf on Memorial Day weekend in 2015. I was unable to find any liberal media articles accusing them of playing golf on Memorial Day and I came up empty finding any stories about how inappropriate it was for them to play golf on that particular weekend. Once agin, things are only bad when Republicans do them.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is so bad that liberals don’t even care how big their lies are against the President or how easily they are fact-checked. The left has now slipped permanently into a fantasy world where their hysterical insanity has become their reality.
The old way was to take something Trump said out of context and pitch a hissy fit. Now they’re just making shit up to attack the President with.
