For most of his political career, Colin Powell was slammed by black activists and liberals alike for being conservative and not “allowed” to be black despite his black skin. He has been called an “Uncle Tom” and accused of “cloning” for the white man because he wasn’t a democrat. Thankfully, Joe Biden came up with a rule that people can only be black if they support his presidential bid. Finally, after all these years, Powell is allowed to be black because he announced he’s voting for Crazy Joe in November.
When Biden said, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black,” some people thought it was kind of racist. I mean, nobody from the liberal media, the democratic party, or the black activist community thought it was racist, but some did think it was wrong for super-white Biden to claim black people can only truly be black if they vote for him.
Colin Powell, whose always been on the RINO side of things, saw that racist Biden statement as an opportunity to finally reclaim his own race. He went on CNN’s State of the Union with Jake Tapper to get his blackness back.
The former Secretary of State was asked if he would be supporting Trump in November and he gave this bizarre answer:
“I couldn’t vote for him in ‘96 and I certainly cannot in any way support President Trump this year,” said Powell.
I don’t believe that Donald Trump ran in 1996, and in fact, that presidential election was between Bill Clinton and Bob Dole. Because this is CNN, Jake Tapper never even tried to correct Powell on this. In fact, Tapper covered it up for Powell.
“I know you didn’t vote for him in 2016,” said Tapper. “I assume you’re going to be voting for Joe Biden.”
Never assume. It makes an ass out of u and me. Except this time. Only Colin Powell was being an ass.
“I’m very close to Joe Biden in a social manner and political manner. I’ve worked with him for 35, 40 years, and he is now the candidate and I will be voting for him,” Powell said.
Imagine publicly stating that you are in sync with Joe Biden’s lunacy. Powell really, really wants his black card back to admit this on national, albeit low-rated, TV.
Obviously President Trump wasn’t going to let this go without a tweet:

Say what you want, Mr. President, thanks to the kindness of racist old man Biden, Colin Powell will now formally be recognized as a black man by radical leftist kooks.
