Great News! Racism is over. Centuries of democratic party slavery and oppression of black people has been undone by one simple trick: The Simpsons animated series will no longer let white actors voice black characters. Black people are now employed in good paying professions and their communities are suddenly crime free. It seems like kind of a dick move that Fox didn’t do this a long time ago but they’re owned by Disney now so it’s a moment not unlike the Emancipation Proclamation.
For some reason I have to point out when I’m being sarcastic, so for the record I’m being a smart ass here. This is just another meaningly gesture in a long line of guilty white liberals’ efforts to appear “woke.” Obviously this is not going to improve the lives of black people in any way, but it sure does make rich white people feel good about themselves.

Fox’s venerable animated series The Simpsons has released a statement on casting for non-white characters that will affect the voices of such popular Black characters on the show as Carlton Carlson and Dr. Julius M. Hibbert.
“Moving forward, The Simpsons will no longer have white actors voice non-white characters,” the series said Friday.
On The Simpsons, Hank Azaria has been the voice of the black cartoon character Carlton Carlson. He also was known for voicing Apu, a character which has long been criticized for portraying a racist depiction of an Indian immigrant. Azaria announced in January that he would no longer voice the character.
Harry Shearer voices the black character Dr. Julius M. Hibbert, one of several characters he voices, including Mr. Burns, Waylon Smithers, Principal Skinner, Ned Flanders, Reverend Lovejoy and Kent Brockman.
The Carl Carlson character is actually Icelandic. Look it up.
The biggest problem with this, besides the fact that it’s stupid, is that the “white” people on The Simpsons are actually yellow. They can’t possibly let white actors voice yellow characters, can they? They’re going to have to find a bunch of Asian actors for this at which point it will become doubly racist for having a show about yellow characters acting white.
Plus, I found more problems that The Simpsons have yet to address:
Krusty the Clown is Jewish, but he’s voiced by non-Jewish Dan Castellaneta. This is clearly anti-Semitism. Castellaneta also voices Scottish Grounds Keeper Willy despite being of Italian descent. The word “xenophobia” comes to mind.
Along those same lines, Ned Flanders, a devoutly Christian character, is voiced by Harry Shearer, who is Jewish. Shearer also does the voice of Christian Reverend Lovejoy. When will this religious intolerance end?
Chief Clancy Wigums, a police officer, is voiced by Hank Azaria who has never been in law enforcement. #BlueLivesMatter. Azaria also does the voice of the overweight Comic Book Guy, despite not being fat in a blatant case of body-shaming.
Tress MacNeille, a woman, voices male characters Dolph, Gino Terwilliger, and Irish boy Colin from The Simpsons Movie. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an egregious case of misandry than this. Also Tess does Asian real estate broker Cookie Kwon so George Takei who voices Asian waiter Akira Kurosawa is going to be outraged.
Acting is being able to convincingly portray someone you are not. Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t really a killer cyborg from the future nor is Mark Hammil a Jedi. If the new rule is that an actor has to be whatever their character is, every single piece of entertainment is going to suck because the only thing anyone in Hollywood is qualified to play is a self-righteous douchebag.
