Who’s Excited To See The NAACP Develop TV Shows? Nobody?

One of the weirdest things to come out of the George Floyd riots is the crapifying of television. First the guilty white liberals in charge of the entertainment industry cancelled COPS and Live PD because showing the reality of black crime was somehow racist. Then, Disney inked a deal with Colin Kaepernick to produce content across all of their platforms like anyone wants to watch “Kneel and Suck: The Series.” Now, CBS has entered into an agreement to have the NAACP produce TV shows for them. If you thought there was nothing on TV before, wait till this garbage starts airing.

Here’s an announcement from the NAACP that apparently nobody else thought was newsworthy:

CBS Television Studios and the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) have reached an agreement on a multi-year partnership to develop and produce scripted, unscripted and documentary content for linear television networks and streaming platforms.

As part of the agreement, CBS Television Studios’ creative leaders will work with the civil rights organization to establish a dedicated team of executives and infrastructure to acquire, develop and produce programming. The partnership will focus on producing premium content that expands the number of diverse voices contributing to an ever-evolving society, and by telling inclusive stories that increase the visibility and impact of Black artists in a growing media landscape.

Wow, this actually sounds like an Al Sharpton-style shakedown with the demand that CBS installs unqualified black executives. Speaking of which, Rev. Al wants to know why everyone else is getting TV deals besides him. Expect a justice march any day now to rectify this egregious example of systemic racism.

“An important way to diversify and grow our storytelling is to expand our horizons beyond the traditional studio-producer system. There is no better partner than the NAACP – the preeminent civil rights organization in our country – to help us find, develop and tell these inclusive stories. At the same time, this is a strategic opportunity for CBS to build upon as well as re-imagine our pipeline for existing and emerging creative talent,” said CBS Entertainment Group president George Cheeks.

It kind of looks like he took one between the cheeks to appease the racial grievance industry.

“In this moment of national awakening, the time has never been better to further tell stories of the African American experience. Programming and content have the power to shape perspectives and drive conversations around critical issues. This partnership with CBS allows us to bring compelling and important content to a broad audience,” said NAACP CEO Derrick Johnson.

Is it going to be realistic stuff like Black Lives Matter protesters shooting black children to death? Even that is unlikely to draw an audience, which is why this deal will go down in history as one of the biggest entertainment industry blunders of all time.

Also, since our country is apparently experiencing a racial awaking, will the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People do something about that racial slur in their name? Everything else has been taken out by cancel culture.

Thanks to the coronavirus, most TV and film production has been shut down so there’s already going to be a glut in new content. Add to that the rush by all the studios to ram through “woke black” projects and there will be absolutely nothing to watch in the near future.

Did these morons learn nothing from the financial disaster of the Harriet Tubman kung-fu action flick? What’s next? Maya Angelou the Vampire Slayer? Nobody is going to watch this crap including black people and their guilty white liberal apologists.
