The problem with liberal cancel culture, besides the fascist nature of suppressing free speech, is it exposes the hypocrisy of the cancellers. Democrats are trying to force a Republican state lawmaker to resign because he has some kind of connection to a KKK leader. Hillary Clinton was mentored by a KKK leader and Joe Biden delivered the eulogy at a KKK leader’s funeral. If this Republican must be canceled, then Hillary and Joe have to go as well.

The Alabama Democratic Party renewed its call for a state lawmaker to step down after he posted on social media that he had a “great time” honoring Confederate Army General and Ku Klux Klan leader Nathan Bedford Forrest over the weekend.
[Rep. Will Dismukes, R-Prattville] said on Facebook Sunday that he had a “great time” celebrating Forrest’s birthday at Fort Dixie in Selma, adding that he gave the invocation for the festivities.
“Always a great time and some sure good enough eating!!” wrote Dismukes, who is a chaplain for the Prattville Dragoons, a chapter of the Sons of the Confederacy.
“Will Dismukes has demonstrated yet again why he is unfit to hold public office. Americans don’t celebrate racists or traitors. Nathan Bedford Forrest was both. And a founder of the Klan. The Alabama Democratic Party renews our call for Dismukes to resign. It’s 2020 and it’s time for racial extremists like Will Dismukes to go away,” said Alabama democratic party executive director Wade Perry in a statement.
Forrest was also a democrat. I wonder why Perry left that part of his resumé out.
Dismukes removed the Facebook post and said he “was in no way glorifying the Klan or disrespecting the late Rep. John Lewis.” It doesn’t matter, democrats are screaming for this guy to be cancelled.
What then, do these democrats make of former West Virginia Senator Robert Byrd? He too was a democrat as well as a Grand Cyclops in the KKK. Not only was he a leader of the racist organization, he was touted as a top recruiter. He never got canceled by the democrats and in fact was celebrated and revered by them.
Byrd was Hillary Clinton’s mentor, guiding her in the ways of liberal political bullshit. Here’s a picture of her sucking face with the KKK leader:

When Byrd died in 2010, Joe Biden eulogized him. Enjoy some of these fun quotes:

Democrats have come up with a rule that if you celebrate the life of a KKK leader, you are canceled. Joe Biden celebrated the shit out of a KKK leader’s life so I guess he’s done too, right?
Democrats don’t do anything that helps anyone but themselves so they have another rule that says their rules only apply to others. While it is deeply offensive that some unknown Republican state lawmaker celebrated the life of a KKK leader, it’s completely awesome that Joe Biden did it too.
