Obama Slams Trump During John Lewis Eulogy

Believe it or not, former president Barack Obama found a way to politicize an event that shouldn’t have been politicized. During a eulogy, that was more like a campaign speech, for congressman John Lewis, Obama listed off some democratic party objectives and then went after President Trump. As always, Obama is too scared to utter the name “Trump” but we all know who he’s bitching about.

John Lewis’ funeral in Georgia was a packed house, which would be illegal if normal people were trying to worship, but democrats have some insanely good double-standard rules for themselves. Obama signal-switched into “black guy” mode to bring the thunder and fury down on Republicans and President Trump.

“I’m so grateful for the legacy and work of all the congressional leaders who are here but there’s a better way than a statement calling him a hero,” said Obama.

Obama then reeled off a list of democratic party talking points about how it’s racist that everyone in the country has the same rules for voting. He said the way to truly honor John Lewis was to get rid of voter ID laws and let Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico become states.

“And if all this takes eliminating the filibuster, another Jim Crow relic, in order to secure the God-given rights of every American, then that’s what we should do,”claimed Obama.

Fact-Check: The filibuster has been in place in the U.S. Senate since 1975. Jim Crow laws were made illegal by the Civil Rights Act of 1965. It’s nice to see Obama is a still a lying sack of crap.

“Bull Connor may be gone, but today, we witness with our own eyes police officers kneeling on the necks of black Americans. George Wallace may be gone, but we can witness our federal government sending agents to use tear gas and batons against peaceful demonstrators,” said Obama.

Fact-Check: Bull Connor and George Wallace were democrats.

Fact-Check: We witnessed 1 police officer kneeling on the neck of 1 black American, not multiple police officers kneeling on multiple black Americans.

Fact-Check: Thugs burning and looting are not “peaceful.”

And finally, Obama went after “He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named.”

“Even as we sit here, there are those in power who are doing their darnedest to discourage people from voting by closing polling locations and targeting minorities and students with restrictive I.D. Laws and attacking our voting rights with surgical precision, even undermining the postal service in the run-up to an election that’s going to be dependent on mail-in ballots, so people don’t get sick,” said Obama.

Not exactly the sickest burn ever, but that line about the postal service was aimed at Trump. “President Trump is so racist that he willing to let a bloated inefficient thing like the Post Office go out of business” isn’t going to win Obama any “Yo Mamma” battles.

The interesting thing here is that Obama is bitching about all of these laws he wants to see passed in regards to John Lewis’ passion for voting rights. Obama was the president of the United States for 8 years and for the first two, he had a democratic House and Senate, yet he never did any of this. John Lewis was a 17-term 34-year Congressman, including 16 years with a democrat in the White House, yet he never did any of this.
