Children don’t generally get COVID-19 and when they do it’s mild and certainly not deadly. This is a verifiable fact. President Trump shared a video of an interview in which he stated as much and both Facebook and Twitter took drastic action to remove the video and ban his campaign. Iran can threaten to destroy America and democrats can lie their asses off, but the second Trump says something true, social media cracks down.
Fox News reports:
Facebook and Twitter are both taking action after a video shared by President Trump they say contains misinformation about the coronavirus.
“This video includes false claims that a group of people is immune from COVID-19 which is a violation of our policies around harmful COVID misinformation,” Facebook spokesperson Liz Bourgeois told Fox News in a statement.
In the removed video, the president told Fox & Friends that schools should remain open.
“My view is that schools should be open,” Trump said. “If you look at children, children are almost — and I would almost say definitely — but almost immune from this disease.”
He added that children have “much stronger immune systems” and “just don’t have a problem.”
And Twitter full-on took out Trump’s campaign account:
The same clip was also shared by the Trump campaign’s Twitter account – @teamtrump – and retweeted by the president himself.
A Twitter spokesperson told Fox News the tweet is “in violation of the Twitter rules on COVID-19 misinformation” and that the Trump campaign will “be required to remove the Tweet before they can Tweet again.”
Twitter suspended Team Trump until they take down the “offending” tweet, which was actually flagged by Kamala Harris’ former press secretary. There’s nothing suspicious about that, right?
Unlike facebook and Twitter, who are on the Internet, I have access to the Internet and was able to find this from The Mayo Clinic:
Children of all ages can become ill with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). But most kids who are infected typically don’t become as sick as adults and some might not show any symptoms at all.
While all children are capable of getting the virus that causes COVID-19, they don’t become sick as often as adults. Children also rarely experience severe illness with COVID-19. Despite many large outbreaks around the world, very few children have died.
That’s a fancy way of saying that children are almost immune from the coronavirus, like Trump said. Here’s a literal way to say it:
Some experts suggest that children might not be as severely affected by COVID-19 because there are other coronaviruses that spread in the community and cause diseases such as the common cold. Since children often get colds, they might have antibodies that provide them with some protection against COVID-19. It’s also possible that children’s immune systems interact with the virus differently than do adults’ immune systems. Some adults are getting sick because their immune systems seem to overreact to the virus, causing more damage to their bodies. This may be less likely to happen in children.
So when President Trump says that children are almost immune from coronavirus, that is backed up by The Mayo Clinic who says that children are also immune from coronavirus.
How is this misinformation? The answer to that is: it’s not but liberals must oppose everything Trump does or says so obviously social media companies are a part of that. Also, democrats are intent on keep this country locked down until November so Biden can win and that includes stopping kids from going back to school.
And let’s get to the important thing here: Facebook and Twitter are censoring the President of the United States because he’s stating facts that liberals don’t like. They are abusing their platforms to promote a liberal lie and push a liberal narrative.
President Trump has threatened to ban TikTok because they are Chinese Communist Party spyware. He should also ban Facebook and Twitter for being democratic party propaganda.
