Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s death has given President Trump the unique opportunity to seat 3 Supreme Court Justices in his first term. Because they hate Trump and the fact that the court will soon have a 6-3 conservative majority, democrats are pitching a fit. It’s all completely meaningless since the Republicans control the Senate and can confirm Trump’s nominee without any help from the crybaby democrats. Still, the democrats have one last trick up their sleeves: they all agree that Trump’s Constitutional authority to nominate Justices is somehow illegitimate.
To replace RBG, President Trump has nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett, who is a woman but also white and Catholic. She’s also a strict Constitutional conservative so naturally democrats hate her. They have gone after her faith and race, but have resisted attacking her gender. So far.
With zero options to stop her confirmation, the democrats of the Senate Judiciary Committee have decided to pretend like President Trump has no authority to nominate Supreme Court Justices.

Kameltoe offers the illegitimate argument that a sitting president does not have the authority to nominate a Supreme Court Justice and that it’s actually the voters who get to do this. It’s hard to believe she is a lawyer and a U.S. Senator, but easy to understand why she’s Joe Biden’s running mate.
All of these butthurt democrats sit on the Senate Judiciary Committee and most of them have said they will not meet with Amy Coney Barrett. While the democrats think this is some kind of bold move, what it really does is speed up the confirmation process. Judge Coney Barrett will be Justice Coney Barrett in record time.
While these democrats claim that Trump’s nomination is illegitimate, they don’t offer any actual proof of this, mostly because they are full of shit. The Constitution states very clearly that the president is tasked with nominating Justices and that the Senate is in charge of confirming them. Where’s the illegitimacy?
Barack Obama said it best: “Elections have consequences.”
Republicans control the White House and the Senate and they are free to nominate and confirm Supreme Court Justices. Period. Acting like a bunch of bitches doesn’t change that.
