More Than a Felony

Not that they’ll agree they should be bound by it, but Senate democrats (communists/globalists) set a new precedent on Wednesday that We the People anticipate will come back to bite them the next time there is a Republican in the White House.

And We the People anticipate there will be a Republican in the White House in approximately eight months.

This from redstate.com.

Remember, it was the democrats (communists/globalists) in 2013 who set precedent in 2013 when Majority Leader Dirty Harry Reid from Nevada pulled the plug on the “nuclear option” and the Senate rules were changed so nominees for cabinet posts and federal judgeships—and, of course, Supreme Court Justices—could be confirmed with a simple majority of 51. Republicans cried foul, but to no avail. And soon enough the payback was Hell, and the rest is history.

Now, obviously, the Left did not learn their lesson and We the People can expect further hellacious payback with President Trump’s return and the retaking of the Senate by the GOP.

At issue this time, the communists/globalists declined to proceed with the impeachment trial of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, despite the fact that the Articles of Impeachment charged him with—among other things—knowingly making false statements to Congress which is a felony.

So, as Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) has stated:

[The democrats] torched the Constitution

and bulldozed 200 years of precedent.

Following the debacle, the communists/globalists:

[S]curried out of the upper chamber, but the Republicans stuck around to expound a bit upon what had just happened.

And Senator John Kennedy (R-LA), in the way that only he can, succinctly summed it up:

What do you have to do to get impeached now? I mean, a felony is not sufficient. What’s above a felony?

And from Susie Moore of RedState:

[M]y mind immediately defaulted to music mode and heard “More Than a Felony” with a nod to Boston (the band, not the town).

Senator Kennedy’s point:  A felony is now insufficient grounds for impeachment. And for the time being Mayorkas will continue to break the law. Next step: Military Tribunal.
