Hate Crime? Black Thug Sucker-Punched Actor Rick Moranis

If there’s raging hate, in your neighborhood. Who ya gonna call? If there’s something racist, and it don’t look good. Who ya gonna call? You actually should call Ghostbusters because the NYPD isn’t much help. Actor Rick Moranis, star of Ghostbusters and Honey I Thunk The Kids, was sucker punched and laid out by a black thug in NYC. The cops however aren’t calling this a racially-motivated attack or a hate crime because Black Lives Matter in now in full control of the city. If Moranis had hit a black ghost with a neutrona wand, that would have been an act of hatred, but this doesn’t qualify under the new rules.

The New York Post reports:

Actor Rick Moranis was punched in the head by a stranger wearing an “I ❤️NY” sweatshirt in a caught-on-video attack on the Upper West Side, police said Friday.

Moranis, 67, was walking on Central Park West around West 70th Street on his way to his nearby apartment building when a stranger suddenly slugged him, knocking him to the ground, about 7:30 a.m., according to police and a surveillance clip.

A rep for Moranis confirmed to The Post that the largely reclusive “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” star was the victim of the assault.

“Rick Moranis was assaulted on the Upper West Side yesterday. He is fine but grateful for everyone’s thoughts and well wishes,” said the representative.

Moranis, who suffered pain in his head, back and right hip, went to a local hospital by private means for an evaluation before he went to the 20th Precinct to report the attack, cops and law enforcement sources said.

Nowhere in any of the reporting is there mention of this assault being looked at as a hate crime.

I guess it’s not right to blame the NYPD for not classifying this as a hate crime as their hands are tied by shitty liberal leadership. This is a fun quotes the NY Post got from one officer:

“This is crazy — getting mugged 7:30 in the morning on Central Park West. Welcome to [Mayor Bill] de Blasio’s New York,” said a Manhattan cop. “And [the suspect] will be out in minutes after he is arrested. Welcome to Gov. [Andrew] Cuomo’s no-bail New York.”

I don’t see any way that if the races were reversed in this attack that it wouldn’t be a national outrage. If a white guy slugged an elderly black person in the face, it would immediately be classified as a hate crime. Look at the spastic fit the cops and media had when Jussie Smollett faked a hate crime attack against himself.

I also don’t see any other explanation for the attack than racial hatred. A black guy sucker-punched a small frail 67-year-old white guy without provocation. This was racially-motivated no matter how you look at it.

That is unless you are looking at it through white guilt/BLM-tinted lenses and then it appears that a racist white guy assaulted an innocent black man by wailing on his fists with his face.
