Body Cam Theater! Tonight’s Episode: “I Just Don’t Give a Sh-t!”

No, that’s not what tonight’s special guest star, one Angel Benitez said before he died. It’s what I’m saying. I am SO beyond sick of this shit.

Here we have some scumbag shit heel, ironically named Angel, who was caught “slumped over” in the driver’s seat of a STOLEN vehicle in Mesa, AZ. Hmmm . . . smells like heroin to me. But then he drove off to Tempe where he was conveniently disposed of by Mesa police. He had no weapon. I say, so the fuck what?

You say, “You monster! How can you say such a thing?!?!”

Well first off, I AM a monster. Secondly, I was in a similar situation at one time in my life. It was not for stealing a car, but for but pulling a gun on some Hispanic thug who stole property of my then girlfriend’s and taking it back from him. But that’s armed robbery. I call it vigilantism, but the rules are the rules and I got caught. Now back to the story.

New body-camera video in Angel Benitez shooting shows officer said he did not have weapon

Meaning he had no dick, is my guess. And I do think I’m right. Look at him.

When 21-year-old Angel Benitez sat “slumped over” the steering wheel of a car in Mesa last week, an officer peered into the vehicle before saying no weapons could be seen inside.

However, moments later after he drove away and into Tempe, Benitez was fatally shot multiple times by Mesa police officers who said they felt threatened when he began to lower his hands toward his waist, according to officials.

He died at a hospital about an hour later. After the shooting, police determined there were no weapons in the car.

The Tempe Police Department, which is leading the investigation, on Thursday released footage from the body worn cameras of some of the officers involved the morning of Sept. 25, providing some insight and raising more questions about the events leading up to Benitez’s death.

Benitez’s family is demanding an independent investigation into his death and raising funds for his funeral on Oct. 10, according to a GoFundMe campaign.

Go fund this.

“Angel Benitez was murdered by multiple lethal gunshots at close range by Mesa police,” the family’s attorney Benjamin Taylor said in a statement. “Angel’s parents are devastated by the new body camera footage that was recently released of their unarmed son’s murder.

“His grieving mother is preparing to bury her firstborn whose face is unrecognizable due to gunshot wounds,” he continued. “We are seeking justice for Angel’s family.”

“Whose face is unrecognizable due to gunshot wounds.” DAMN, I’m cold but I’m sure it was an improvement.

The Mesa Police Department was also conducting a separate, internal investigation and the officers involved have since been placed on administrative leave per standard policy, according to officials.

Mesa police officers last Friday responded to a Panda Express near Dobson Road and Rio Salado Parkway after receiving a report about a man “passed out” behind the wheel of car, said Tempe police spokesperson Detective Greg Bacon. The man was later identified as Benitez.

Footage showed three Mesa police officers responded to the scene, two of whom approached each side of a red car with tinted windows as the third officer parked directly behind the red car. Benitez could not clearly be seen on the footage.

One of the officers said he saw foil in Benitez’s hand, implying possible drug use.

AHA! I might be right! There are many ways to ingest heroin. The most obvious being via a needle, but it can also be snorted and smoked. A common way of smoking it is putting it on aluminum foil, hold a lighter under it, and inhale it through a straw. Yes, I know from experience, which is why I’m writing about this in the first place.

As officers at the scene discovered the car was stolen, they decided to conduct “a high-risk contact” of the car, according to Bacon.

One of the officers who peered into the vehicle said he “couldn’t see any weapons” in the car.

Doesn’t matter. The officer didn’t SEE any weapons. That doesn’t mean there are one or more hidden.

The officers retreated to a police car, which had backed away from the red car. They appeared to have their weapons drawn.
With help from an air unit and undercover detectives in the area, police were able to find the car backed into a covered parking space near University Drive and Evergreen Road in Tempe, according to officials. Benitez was still sitting inside, facing officers.
The video released Thursday only shows the perspective of three officers arriving on scene after others were already engaged with Benitez, so what it reveals is limited.

It also was obscured, providing only glimpses of the red car. One of the cameras appeared to be blocked by the butt of the officer’s rifle.

The officers at the scene had their guns drawn and pointed toward the car.

Now here’s where it gets to what I can relate to y’all. Except I was caught between two dozen or more cop cars ahead and behind me. All with weapons drawn. Shotguns, ARs, 45s, 40s, 9s, you name it. How is it that I survived? Let’s look.

“Driver, with your left hand, reach and open up the door,” one of the officers can be heard yelling to Benitez. “Push it all the way with your foot.”

“Driver, slowly step out of the vehicle and face away from us,” he continued.

These are the same commands I was issued except for, “You are considered armed and dangerous! If you do not do what we say, we WILL drop you!” Imagine that! ME! A privileged white man?!?!?! What injustice! *insert eye roll here*

I took them seriously. Then I heard over the loud speaker while the neighborhood crowd began to gather . . .

“Reach over with your right hand and drop the gun on the street.” Which I did.

Then they told me to exit the vehicle with my hands behind my head, facing away, take five steps back, and kneel. I did that too. Then a cop ran up, put me in a good “sankyo” move . . . which was funny because I had been studying Aikido for several years and knew how to get out of said sankyo. But I didn’t. I actually complimented the arresting officer on his technique and he and I actually became good friends within at least a half an hour.

Now why am I still alive to write this? BECAUSE AS STUPID AS I WAS TO COMMIT THAT CRIME IN THE FIRST PLACE, RESISTING OR NOT OBEYING POLICE COMMANDS WOULD HAVE BEEN RETARDED UNLESS YOU ARE SUICIDAL.

Bacon previously said Benitez initially complied with officers’ commands to put his hands in the air but then “dropped his hands out of their view and towards his waistband” while still the vehicle.

“The five officers involved perceived the movement as a threat, and simultaneously three officers fired lethal rounds, and two officers fired less-lethal rounds,” he said.

Good. I would have fired on his punk ass too.

As an officer yells “don’t reach,” more than a dozen gunshots could be heard within five seconds in the footage. It’s unclear how many of those struck Benitez and which were lethal or non-lethal rounds.

“Driver, speak to us,” an officer yells. No response can be heard, and other officers say Benitez is still moving and they can’t see his right hand.

Based on the video, it is not clear how much time passed before Benitez received medical attention.

And to tie this all in with my title? WHO GIVES A SHIT?!?!

Why am I so cruel?

If you don’t want to get bitten by a shark, don’t go in the water.

If you have a peanut allergy don’t fucking eat them.

If you don’t want to have a hate crime committed against you, don’t walk into a black ‘hood.

If you don’t want to get stung by a bee, don’t fuck with their nest.

AND, if you don’t want to get shot by police, OBEY THEIR FUCKING COMMANDS!

It IS that easy, you retards.

Here’s the damn video. It doesn’t show much but you can hear all the commands given . . . he should have listened.

And I don’t give two shits about how many happy-go-lucky pics you post of him, he was a thug. Driving a stolen car?

Plain and simple, over and out.

Throw him in the fucking pile.
