If you want to see what a liberal dictatorship looks like, they gave us a preview over the past two days. Democrats, the liberal media, big tech, and the entire entertainment industry went in full lock-dwon mode to censor and bury any message they don’t like. From trying to block the Constitutional conformation of a Supreme Court Justice to nuking the Hunter Biden lap top story, this is what our country will be if the liberals run it.
This week kicked off with the Supreme Court nomination hearings for Amy Cony Barrett. Democrats lack the numbers to block President Trump’s nominee so they developed a false narrative that it is somehow unconstitutional for the President to nominate a justice and for Congress to confirm one. A quick perusal of the Constitution shows that the President and the Senate have not only the authority, but also the duty to do this.
On Wednesday, the NY Post broke a story that an abandoned lap top belonging to Joe Biden’s crackhead son Hunter contained e-mails linking the former VP to an extortion scheme against the Ukraine government. Naturally the forces of liberalism worked overtime to censor, discredit, and bury this story, which should be the biggest news of the election cycle.
Lastly, President Trump will participate in a town hall on NBC tonight, but it runs at the exact same time as Joe Biden’s town hall on ABC so the left is demanding that NBC drop Trump or face their wrath.
Let’s take a look at how the left is attempting to crush free speech and control the information they will allow you to hear.
Almost as soon as the NY Post broke the Hunter Biden story, social media moved to censor it:
Both Twitter and Facebook took extraordinary censorship measures against The Post on Wednesday over its exposés about Hunter Biden’s emails — with Twitter baselessly charging that “hacked materials” were used.
The Post’s primary Twitter account was locked as of 2:20 p.m. Wednesday because its articles about the messages obtained from Biden’s laptop broke the social network’s rules against “distribution of hacked material,” according to an email The Post received from Twitter.
Twitter also blocked users from sharing the link to The Post article indicating that Hunter Biden introduced Joe Biden to the Ukrainian businessman, calling the link “potentially harmful.”
“In line with our Hacked Materials Policy, as well as our approach to blocking URLs, we are taking action to block any links to or images of the material in question on Twitter,” a Twitter spokesperson told The Post in a statement.
But that’s not all, Twitter also silenced the White House as Fox News reports:
Twitter is allowing Chinese and Iranian state media to push content while blocking a New York Post article that purports to show emails from Hunter Biden linking his father to his Ukraine business dealings.
The social media site followed Facebook Wednesday when it began blocking people attempting to share the article in tweets and private messages because the article violated its “Hacked Materials Policy.” Twitter also locked users, including White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, out of their accounts for attempting to share the article on Wednesday.
Trump 2020 campaign social media director Mike Hahn said in a Thursday tweet that Twitter locked the campaign’s account after it shared a video relating to the Post article.
In addition, Twitter blocked the Republican Senate Judiciary Committee’s official government website for linking to the Post article.
At least we still have a free press that will report on this important story, right? Actually, no. Check this shit out:
The mainstream media went into overdrive to dismiss Wednesday’s New York Post bombshell revealing damning emails allegedly found on Hunter Biden’s computer, with some outlets simply ignoring the development and others doing their best to cast the report as dubious.
CNN completely ignored the story on Wednesday, somehow managing to fill its airtime while also skipping almost the entirety of the historic Amy Coney Barrett hearing.
NBC News finally mentioned it Thursday morning when Hallie Jackson was brought on “Today” to question the “dubious” story’s legitimacy.
“This is a questionably sourced story, to say the least,” Jackson told viewers. “It appeared in a tabloid, that President Trump and his allies are really trying to seize on.”
On Thursday, ABC’s “Good Morning America” skipped the story altogether while “CBS This Morning” discussed it for less than two minutes.
MSNBC has essentially ignored the story, too, but “Morning Joe” namesake Joe Scarborough found time to dismiss it as “false” on Thursday morning…
And finally, Hollywood doesn’t think President Trump should be allowed on TV while Joe Biden deserves plenty of airtime. The Hollywood Reporter reports:
More than 100 top showrunners, producers and stars have sent a petition to Comcast and NBCUniversal executives protesting the timing of tonight’s town hall with President Donald Trump, which is set to air across the company’s platforms opposite ABC’s town hall with Democratic nominee Joe Biden. The list of heavyweights who signed the letter of protest includes J.J. Abrams; Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay, This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman and Ava DuVernay.
The petition — sent to Comcast CEO Brian Roberts, NBCUniversal chairman Jeff Shell and NBCUniversal News Group chairman Cesar Conde — told the execs, “you are enabling the president’s bad behavior while undercutting the Presidential Debate Commission and doing a disservice to the American public.” They continued: “This is not a partisan issue. This is about the political health of our democracy.”
Is there anything quite as non-partisan than a bunch of far left whackos demanding that a political enemy be silenced? I’m not sure these Hollywood weirdos know what that word means.
So this was a preview of America under liberal rule. Only information the left approves of will be allowed. All dissenters will be silenced. Free thought will be outlawed.
