Trump Impeachment 2: Democratic Boogaloo

Mostly democrats in the House have once again voted to impeach President Trump on nonsense charges. This makes Trump the most impeached president in U.S. history, which is in a weird way makes him the greatest of all time. He must have been doing something right for the democrats to hate him enough to push through 2 bogus impeachments.

Without any bothersome evidence or testimony, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi fast-tracked an impeachment vote exactly one week before President Trump leaves office. The charges this time around were “incitement of insurrection” and the less-defined crime of questioning the results of the 2020 presidential election.

The House voted 232-197 to impeach President Trump. 10 Republicans joined the democrats in this second sham impeachment. In case you’re interested in who should be booted from the GOP, here’s a list of the traitors:

Rep. David Valadao – California

Rep. Adam Kinzinger – Illinois

Rep. Peter Meijer – Michigan.

Rep. Fred Upton – Michigan

Rep. John Katko – New York

Rep. Anthony Gonzalez – Ohio

Rep. Tom Rice – South Carolina

Dan Newhouse – Washington

Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler – Washington

Rep. Liz Cheney – Wyoming

While no testimony or evidence was presented prior to the vote, outraged members of the House were allowed to spin lies and spew hatred at President Trump.

“The bottom line is this: This Capitol was stormed. People died because of the big lies that were being told by this president, and by too many people on the other side of the aisle. Enough. People should be outraged as to what happened. It was unforgivable, unconscionable,” said ” said democratic Rep. Jim McGovern. “The president of the United States instigated an attempted coup in this country. People died. Everybody should be outraged. Whether you’re a Democrat or Republican. If this is not an impeachable offense. I don’t know what the hell is. This president is not fit to remain in office.”

“He must go. He is a clear and present danger to the nation that we all love,” added Nancy Pelosi.

After the first impeachment, Nancy Pelosi sat on the articles for weeks before transmitting them to the Senate for a trial that ended in President Trump’s acquittal. This time around she’ll probably send them over a little faster, seeing on how Trump’s term ends in 7 days. Even still, she’ll be getting a sad trombone because, as Fox News reports:

Now, Pelosi will send the article of impeachment over to the Senate. Once they arrive, the Senate will convene a trial that will take place after Trump leaves office. Sen. Chuck Schumer, D.N.Y., had been pressuring Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., to reconvene the Senate immediately under 2004 emergency powers.

But McConnell’s team informed Schumer’s office Wednesday they would not consent. That means the Senate is not slated to reconvene until Jan. 19 — a day before Biden’s inauguration.

Unlike the sham impeachment proceedings in the House, a Senate impeachment trail requires that evidence is submitted and gives the President a chance to defend himself against the charges. This is something that cannot be accomplished in a single day. It’s also not entirely clear that Mitch McConnell is going to go ahead with the completely pointless Senate trial.

Even, if by some miracle, McConnell decides to waste time removing Trump from office after he is already out of office, there still needs to be a two-thirds vote to find Trump guilty. At this time there are only 48 democratic Senators and there’s no way in hell 19 Republicans are going to go along with this democrat shit show. Yes, Mitt Romney is in, but he ain’t pulling down another 18 Republicans.

Historians will say that Donald J. Trump is the only U.S. President to be impeached 2 times, but they should also note that he’s also the only President to be impeached twice and not kicked out of office. He really is the G.O.A.T.
