As reported on Daily Caller by Mary Margaret Olohan, The Democrats certainly brought with them to the White House a new host of rules and unethical behaviors.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki–you know, the one who has already made a name for herself as ‘the snarky one’–tweeted a gay slur at Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham late 2020, a tweet from August shows.
“Only in 2020 does #LadyG get to push a bunch of debunked conspiracy theories while questioning @SallyQYates (aka an American hero),” Psaki tweeted in August 2020, before she assumed her role in the White House.
Can you imagine the outrage that would have been leveled had the parties been reversed in this attack?
Psaki’s reference to “Lady G” refers to rumors that have circulated on social media about Graham’s sexuality. She did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
“Very disappointed someone in her position would embrace this style politics,” Graham spokesman Kevin Bishop told the DCNF. “It says more about her than it does about Senator Graham.”
Doesn’t it seem the Biden administration is disorganized, perhaps bi-polar at best?
The Biden administration has repeatedly said that it will prioritize expanding the rights of LGBTQ persons. Biden released an executive order January 21 on preventing and combating discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation.
“Every person should be treated with respect and dignity and should be able to live without fear, no matter who they are or whom they love,” the order said.
“Adults should be able to earn a living and pursue a vocation knowing that they will not be fired, demoted, or mistreated because of whom they go home to or because how they dress does not conform to sex-based stereotypes,” the order continued.
What say you Def-Con News readers? I don’t watch Press Briefings and I don’t care much about Psaki’s snarkiness. However, seems to me Psaki is taking advantage of Democrats being granted much greater latitude than the Republicans when it comes to multicultural-sexual sensitivity.
