BREAKING: Fox News Cancels Lou Dobbs’ Show – Not Expected to be Back on Air

The Conservative Purge continues to pick up momentum. This time it’s Fox News’ “Lou Dobbs Tonight.” Cancelled according to the Los Angeles Times, as reported on Gateway Pundit.

Lou Dobbs, a faithful Trump supporter, had obviously become expendable. Could it have been his continued reporting of the massive Democrat voter fraud in the 2020 election? And did the final impetus come as a result of Smartmatic’s allegations and law suit?

Dobbs’ cancellation came a day after the large voting software company, Smartmatic, filed a $2.7 billion defamation suit against Fox News and three of its hosts–Lou Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo and Jeanine Pirro. The company said “the hosts helped to spread lies about Smartmatic’s role in the presidential election, to the detriment of its reputation and its business.”

The Los Angeles Times reported:

Fox News has canceled “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” the program hosted by television’s staunchest supporter of Donald Trump and of his assertions of voter fraud in the 2020 election, The Times has learned.

Dobbs’ program, which airs twice nightly at 5 and 7 p.m. Eastern on the Fox Business Network, had its final airing Friday, according to a Fox News representative who confirmed the cancellation. Starting next week, the program will be called “Fox Business Tonight,” with rotating substitute hosts Jackie DeAngelis and David Asman, who filled in for Dobbs on Friday.

Dobbs, 75, remains under contract at Fox News but he will in all likelihood not appear on the company’s networks again. In addition to his Fox Business Network program, he occasionally turned up on the Fox News Channel as a commentator.

Full disclosure: Fox has been in a tailspin as long-time viewers have abandoned the channel since Election Day. The network has dropped to third place behind CNN and MSNBC, and is struggling to regain its footing by shuffling established favorites as it continues to purge conservative hosts and lean ever further left in its news reporting.

Perhaps the questions to be asked at this time are, How much further must the Conservative Purge progress before conservatives have reached the precipice?

Who will be the next to be let go–Tucker Carlson? Maria Bartiromo? Jeanine Pirro? Sean Hannity? At what point will Trump, Jr. or some other young entrepreneur purchase a near-defunct news network or establish a new one and create a super Conservative News Channel?

Such a project would certainly be much easier said than done, I’m sure. But think of the likelihood of success a Super Conservative News Channel would achieve.

More than half the country are conservative and the likes of Biden and the new Democrat party are effecting a growth in the number of conservatives. I would also venture to guess that most of these conservatives are like us and refuse to turn on the liberal networks. They most likely no longer watch Fox either.

What say you Def-Con News readers? Would you tune in to a Super Conservative News Channel? You can probably imagine many of the daily line-up hosts too.
