House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that she is forming a 9/11-style commission to find out the truth about what happened in the Capitol protests/riots/insurrection of January 6. This seems like an odd move considering it’s been over a month since she and the democrats impeached President Trump for inciting the riots. Is this Pelosi admitting that they tried to remove Trump from office without having all of the facts? While it seems like that, she’s probably fishing for something that will allow her to bring criminal charges down on the former President.
Pelosi wrote a letter to her fellow democrats with a big announcement:
Now, as always, security is the order of the day: the security of our country, the security of our Capitol which is the temple of our democracy, and the security of our Members.
For the past few weeks, General Honoré has been assessing our security needs by reviewing what happened on January 6 and how we must ensure that it does not happen again. He has been working with Committees of Jurisdiction and will continue to make proposals.
It is clear from his findings and from the impeachment trial that we must get to the truth of how this happened. To protect our security, our security, our security, our next step will be to establish an outside, independent 9/11-type Commission to “investigate and report on the facts and causes relating to the January 6, 2021 domestic terrorist attack upon the United States Capitol Complex… and relating to the interference with the peaceful transfer of power, including facts and causes relating to the preparedness and response of the United States Capitol Police and other Federal, State, and local law enforcement in the National Capitol Region.”
If they don’t now have the facts and didn’t have the facts last month, how could they have possibly impeached President Trump? I have a feeling Pelosi doesn’t even realize that she just admitted the impeachment was a complete load of shit based on her personal vendetta against Trump.
I also have a feeling the investigation will equally as full of shit. Pelosi doesn’t want an independent review of January 6, because everything will further exonerate President Trump and point to a trap set by her and the leftists.
An independent investigation will destroy the democrats’ narrative the January 6 was a deadly insurrection because nobody actually died as a result of it including Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick.
An independent investigation will show that the Capitol Police, under Nancy Pelosi’s authority, facilitated the breach of the Capitol by opening the doors to let protesters in.
An independent investigation will expose the fact that it wasn’t Trump supporters who stormed the Capitol because most of the major infiltrators where leftist agitators with Antifa and Black Lives Matter, as well as paid crisis actors.
An independent investigation is bound to look at the actual timeline of events on January 6, which will prove President Trump couldn’t have possibly incited the insurrection. When leftists began storming the Capitol, President Trump’s was a mile and a half away telling his supporters to “go peacefully.” Trump’s speech ended 20 minutes after the the Capitol siege began.
Pelosi and the democrats knew Trump was giving a speech about challenging the results of the election, so they set a trap and facilitated the Capitol breech by leftists. They did this for a number of reasons: 1) to stop any questioning of the stolen 2020 election by labeling it sedition, 2) to begin a purge of conservatives by labeling them white supremacists who are a threat to democracy and, 3) to punish Trump who dared to stand up to them.
The last thing Nancy Pelosi wants is an honest and independent investigation into the the facts of January 6. She wants more bullshit that will allow her to sic the Justice Department on Donald Trump, because he keeps escaping her clutches.
