What you are about to see may very well win the BCT (Police) Academy Award for Best Picture this year. It’s certainly going to be nominated and the star of the film is almost a shoe-in for the Best Actor award too. He gives a brief, but brilliant performance in his role as a bullet sponge, making us feel like we are a part of all the gritty violence that is displayed before us.
OGDEN, Utah (KUTV) — The Weber County Attorney’s Office released body camera video Tuesday night that shows Ogden Police officers shoot and kill a sexual assault suspect earlier this month.
The video shows an officer find the suspect, Dino Raul Morales, 28, hiding in the back of a pick-up truck after police attempted to stop him in around 11:30 p.m. on February 5.
A pistol can be seen in Morales’ hand as he stands up in the truck bed and the officer repeatedly warns him to drop the gun. The officer fires on Morales approximately 21 seconds after finding him in the truck. Two officers fired their weapons, according to a police news release. The video only contains body camera video from one officer.

The video released by prosecutors also includes an image of Morales’ handgun, which they identify as a Ruger .380 with a high capacity extended magazine. The Weber County Attorney’s Office says the magazine was loaded with 15 rounds of ammunition.

Ogden Police say Morales was the suspect in an aggravated robbery, sexual assault, and vehicle theft investigation.
Officers spotted the vehicle which was allegedly taken during the crime spree near 30th and Washington. When officers tried to stop the car, Morales got out and ran away to the location of the shooting near 29th and Grant Ave, according to Ogden Police.
Court records show Morales was a convicted felon and therefore a firearms-restricted person.
Once again law and order triumphs over evil! And the cost of a few bullets saves us thousands of dollars having to incarcerate a rapey thug.
