Bend over, here it comes again.
Americans had better get used to pain at the pump after four years of stable and affordable gas prices during the presidency of Donald J. Trump who despite his faults, had the economy humming better than ever before it was derailed by mass hysteria over the coronavirus.
Former Vice President Joe Biden hasn’t even been in the White House for two months and gas prices are already up double digits and according to some, could hit $4 a gallon by early summer.
The crash test dummy in chief’s ideologically driven decision to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline and the expectation that his Green New Deal policies will place onerous regulatory burdens on domestic energy producers in the fossil fuel industry is already hitting Americans in their pocketbooks with the worst yet to come.
The pain at the pump is an additional kick in the gut for beleaguered Americans, millions of whom are already suffering economically due to the Democrat lockdowns, business restrictions and rising food prices, this is really the last thing that they needed.

According to the Associated Press, “As Oil Prices Rocket, Gas Jumps Above $3 In 9 States”:
Motorists are seeing no relief from rising prices at the pump in New Jersey and around the nation.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in New Jersey on Friday was $2.90, up four cents from a week ago.
Drivers were paying an average of $2.41 a gallon a year ago at this time.
The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $2.83, up eight cents from last week.
Drivers were paying an average of $2.32 a gallon a year ago at this time.
Analysts say rising crude prices, tightening gas supplies and increased demand continue to drive prices at the pump higher.
Ironically, many of the states experiencing the sharpest spikes are blue states.
Biden’s defenders in the corrupt media are engaging in their usual gaslighting of the public, working hard to convince people that any suggestions that lunchbucket Joe bears any responsibility for the sharp spike upward are just conspiracy theorists.
One so-called “fact checker” uses a couple of posts singled out from Facebook that ran afoul of Mark Zuckerberg’s brigade of censors.
According to Politifact, the reason for the shock increase is just the usual “seasonal fluctuation.”
Critics of Joe Biden are blaming him for a recent rise in gas prices. But while the price at the pump is rising because of international supply and demand, there is rising consumer confidence that the pandemic is nearing an end. https://t.co/OmnJdlCDZT pic.twitter.com/2SemnK5lTa

Yeah, and the moon is made out of green cheese.
It isn’t exactly rocket surgery to see how the allegedly unbiased “fact checkers” rarely seem to come down on the conservative side of anything that they tackle and since nobody else is checking the “fact checkers” they are never called on their bullshit.
Yes, there is a seasonal component to gas prices but the spinners who are protecting Biden don’t bother addressing his policies including the Keystone XL and the moratorium on oil and gas drilling leases, a sop to the climate change doomsday cult and radical environmentalists of the Democrat base as well as a thumb on a scale for solar and wind manufacturers who will seek to make a killing now that there is nobody in government who will protect the domestic fossil fuels industry.
With the Biden regime’s determination to shut down the domestic fossil fuels industry, the U.S. will once again be dependent on Middle East energy sources until the utopian dream of a nation of electric cars and solar windmills is realized.
Biden has made the appeasement of the climate change doomsday cult one of his top priorities and has already put the entire federal government on course to replace its existing fleet with electric vehicles.
Lunchbucket Joe deceptively presented himself as a moderate who denied that he would declare a government-backed war on oil during the campaign and as a result, was able to sucker millions of working-class Americans into voting for him because of orange man bad.
Americans had better prepare to experience economic pain that will make the dismal Obama years look like the days of plenty.
