RESIST!
In a sign that there could be pushback against the authoritarian left’s drive to put a boot on the necks of Americans in their jihad to save the world from climate change, a small blip of resistance has occurred in Colorado.
When the state’s Democrat governor Jared Polis declared Saturday, March 20 to be “MeatOut Day” to make a statement against those damned farting cows, the reaction wasn’t quite what he may have anticipated.
Governor Polis, a man who owes his job to the fact that he is an open homosexual in a state that is largely ruled by liberals, struck a nerve with Coloradoans who love their beef and are unwilling to further surrender their rights to the Democrat governor who like his blue state counterparts, has exploited the COVID hysteria in order to accrue sweeping dictatorial powers that have wreaked havoc on what was once a land known for the rugged frontier spirit.
“Colorado’s Governor Jared Polis has proclaimed Saturday, March 20, 2021 as #MeatOutDay. To honor this most compassionate proclamation, we want to celebrate the incredible plant-based culinary pleasures that are available to each and every one of us.” https://t.co/H8WNmiq8qF pic.twitter.com/4gfR3zNHTy

The Polis plan ease in leftist totalitarianism under the guise of battling greenhouse gas omissions met with swift opposition from multiple rural Colorado counties that are reluctant to give up their steaks and burgers by allowing vegan fruit balls to declare war on beef producers which remains one of the state’s top industries despite the ascendance of the communists.
Two dozen counties rejected Governor Polis by declaring Saturday to be “Meat In Day” and the Colorado Cattleman’s Association is encouraging citizens to ignore nagging liberal pains in the ass like Polis and his ilk and enjoy their beef.
I’ll be celebrating #MeatInDay with friends, farmers with a medium rare ribeye. Who’s with me? https://t.co/hxqOaoliQ4

Via Fox Business, “Colorado agriculture industry rallies against state’s MeatOut Day”:
Colorado’s cattle industry has a beef with the state’s proclamation encouraging residents to skip eating meat for a day.
Gov. Jared Polis designated Saturday as MeatOut Day, pointing to the health and environmental benefits of not eating meat, as well as animal cruelty and the growing plant-based protein industry.
In response, the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association, more than two dozen counties and the neighboring states of Nebraska and Wyoming declared Meat In Day.
“The goal of this day is to not only promote the benefits of meat consumption to Colorado, but to also patronize our local businesses, restaurants, etc. that have been deeply affected by the economic struggles of the pandemic,” the group said in a statement.
Weld County was one of those that encouraged a pro-meat day. It’s one of the state’s biggest agricultural producers, primarily of livestock and poultry products.
On Wednesday, March 3, the Weld County Board of Commissioners will formally proclaim March 20 as Weld County Ranching, Livestock and “Meat-IN” Day, in direct response to the Governor’s action last week. Read more at https://t.co/gl4cSswCRb. pic.twitter.com/RfJvbpMQ0z

In a written statement, Weld County Commissioner Chair Steve Moreno called MeatOut Day “a slap in the face to the thousands of ranching and farm families across this state.”
Colorado is home to 13,000 beef cattle producers, 206 feedlots and 24 USDA certified slaughter plants, according to the cattlemen’s association. The state’s livestock and related products account for more than 2.3 million cattle and $3.7 billion in sales each year.
Other western states including Montana joined the Colorado counties in rejecting Polis.
I heard one of our neighbors to the south has proclaimed March 20th to be “Meat Out Day,” encouraging residents not to eat meat. Seriously.
In Montana, we’re taking a different approach. pic.twitter.com/SketydwR5C

As did Nebraska:
"Meat on the Menu Day is to educate people about where their food comes from," Ricketts told the Free Beacon. He added that Polis's planned day without meat is a "direct assault" on Nebraska's way of life and "undermines food security."https://t.co/YdCVfkB5Eu

And Oklahoma:
I had a great time at the @OKYouthExpo this week watching young Oklahomans get hands on ag experience!
Today in Colorado it's a “meatless holiday” but next week in Oklahoma is MEAT ALL WEEK.
As governor, I will always stand with our farmers and ranchers! pic.twitter.com/4zGxygEA09

And Wyoming:
I signed a proclamation declaring March 20 Hearty Meat Day in Wyoming. I stand by our ranchers and farmers, who feed the world and help manage our natural resources. I also invite @GovofCO and Colorado citizens to join us in this celebration. pic.twitter.com/xIqaWbfzoN

Colorado used to be a great place until the great California exodus of the 1990s and now once beautiful Denver is a total shithole on course to become the next Seattle and the Mile High City’s legalized marijuana has created a magnet for potheads and sexual deviates.
Americans need to stop living in fear of these petty “woke” tyrants who need to be shunned, mocked, and marginalized like the freaks that they are and always will be.
