Liberals say everything is racist, but they have a particular problem with facts, which are super-racist. The worst offender in the category is calling it like it is. Dimwit Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t like people calling the current surge of illegal aliens a “surge” or “invasion” because she says that is “what supremacist” thinking. In reality this is another example of her limited capabilities in the thinking department.

“They wanna say, ‘But what about the surge?’ Well, first of all, just gut check, stop. Anyone who’s using the term ‘surge’ around you consciously is trying to invoke a militaristic frame,” scolded Ocasio-Cortez.
The word “surge” has no ties to the military, it means “a sudden powerful forward or upward movement, especially by a crowd or by a natural force.” What is going on at the border is that Trump left it as secure as it’s ever been and Biden opened it up creating a sudden movement of illegal aliens. In other words, a surge. This is the most accurate and appropriate way to describe the border situation.
“And that’s a problem because these this is not a surge, these are children and they are not insurgents,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
How is someone this dumb a 2-term House Rep? It’s not called a “surge” because it has anything to do with insurgency (see the above definition). Sure they sound like they have the same root word, but they are different. This is like claiming surges are caused by surgeons.
“And we are not being invaded, which by the way is a White supremacist idea-philosophy, the idea that if another is coming in the population that this is an invasion of who we are,” finished Ocasio-Cortez.
Again, AOC has a profound misunderstanding of what words mean. An invasion is “an incursion by a large number of people or things into a place or sphere of activity” or “an unwelcome intrusion into another’s domain.” The dictionary doesn’t mention anything about this word being tied to white supremacist ideology.
Right now, tens of thousands of foreign nationals are illegally entering our country. It is an incursion by a large number of people who are not welcomed to intrude into our domain. There is no better term to describe what is happening at the border than “invasion.”
According to AOC, accurately describing the border crisis is both racist and fascist. She however doesn’t give us any alternate words to call the surge and invasion. She does describe it as, “the idea that if another is coming in the population” but that’s a bit dense and awkward. Maybe we should call it the “Fiesta of Felons” or the “Border-Jumper Jamboree.”
And as a matter of fact, it’s not just children who are “surging” in this “invasion,” it’s tens of thousands of drug dealers, human traffickers, and adult third-world scumbags as well.
