There is fierce competition between Democrat run areas to one-up each other in a contest for the most crime-ridden shitholes in America but it could be Los Angeles is pulling ahead for the dubious distinction.
In news from the communist occupied left coast, Los Angeles County is reportedly on the brink of turning the already hellish dystopia into a Mecca for violent gangs as LA District Attorney George Gascón will be severely cutting back resources to the city’s hardcore gang unit; a severe blow to law and order.
According to reports, Gascón will dismantle the unit under the pretense of police “reform” that has been championed by Democrats and their cop-hating activists and has received corporate cover since last summer’s rioting and looting after the death of criminal/drug addict George Floyd.
Gascón is another one of the district attorneys who received the backing of bloodsucking Hungarian ghoul George Soros who has installed his operatives in offices tasked with the responsibility for enforcing the law to sabotage them from within.

Via Fox 11 Los Angeles, “Gascón planning to dissolve or severely downsize LA County DA Hardcore Gang unit, sources say”:
It’s one of the oldest units in the office and it’s responsible for prosecuting the most heinous and complex gang-related crimes in the county.
On the condition of anonymity, two LA County Deputy DA’s in the Hardcore Gang unit confirm to FOX 11 what multiple sources are telling us: that Gascón is planning to disband or downsize the unit in a major way.
“What we’re hearing is that the Hardcore Gang Unit will be dissolved,” said one of the prosecutors.
“My understanding is there’s going to be a dissolution of the unit either April 1 or April 2,” said the second prosecutor.
The prosecutors say they feel they’ve already been hamstrung by Gascón’s decision to ban them from using gang and gun enhancements, and they feel that disbanding the unit will be a disaster waiting to happen, given the violent crime surge across Los Angeles.
Fox LA reporter Bill Melugin tweeted that Gascón is making the shift to transition to “community based” policing, a leftist idea that is less about eliminating police entirely and more about making those who are politically loyal to the greater cause to be the “police” which will turn cities into ripe environments for warlords similar to those in third world cesspools.
