Texas Rancher Reveals Disturbing Discoveries; The Number of Illegals Crossing Continue to Increase

Texas rancher Whit Jones has seen the ugly side of illegal immigration, as evidenced by the bodies he and his neighbors have found on their land. This from westernjournal.com

Jones appeared on “Fox & Friends” on Thursday to explain how the border crisis looks from his ranch in Hebbronville, Texas.

Jones said that he finds two or three dead migrants a year on his property, noting that the number varies depending upon how close ranches are to the route illegal immigrants usually take.

“A neighbor of mine has been finding close to 10 a year for the last 10 years,” he said, according to Fox News.

Death is a common companion for illegal immigrants on their journey. Border Patrol reported that during the 2019 federal fiscal year, 300 immigrants died near the southern border, according to Statista.com.

Most of those Jones has found are men in their 20s to 40s who would not qualify for asylum.

“Right now we’re seeing hardly any children or women because of everything that’s going on on the river,” Jones said. “Those people aren’t having to make this journey.”

“They can claim asylum — the women and children can — and they’re being bused places,” he said.

Jones said that on the ground, there is “a little bit more of a dangerous situation” with more “single men coming up.”

“There is a sense of fear that exists down here all the time,” Jones said. “It’s a terrible situation.”

Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee has said Texas is not alone in finding dead illegal immigrants on ranches.

I spoke with John Ladd, a local rancher in Cochise County, who told me in the past 30 years he’s had over a dozen dead illegal immigrants on his ranch.

Jones said he is hoping to get a state law passed that “helps penalize smugglers” and provides protection for migrants.

“It gives our local law enforcement the ability to do more with the situation,” he said, noting that the Texas law would “strengthen the penalty on trespassing from a state level.”

Jones said the issue of illegal immigrants is not confined to the Rio Grande.

“So once all these people get across the river, they then now have to make another journey.”

This crossing of arduous desert and scrub land is an additional risk of harm or death. And the Biden regime is not being held criminally nor humanely accountable for this man-made crisis. A remedy to the danger exists but Biden and his handlers remain unmoved. And the instances of death will mount as the numbers of illegals increase.

“The number of illegal border crossings [is] now six times what [the] Obama team considered a crisis,” wrote James J. Carafano on heritage.org.

Carafano provided a list of what he called the “Top 5 Proven Steps to Regain Control” of the southern border. From heritage.org. His list follows:

Step One. Admit You Blew It. You can’t fix a problem without understanding what caused it. The answer, in this case, is for Team Biden to take a long, hard look in the mirror.

Step Two. Kill the Amnesty Bills. All would-be illegal immigrants dream of being able to cross the border unmolested. But what really gets them motivated is the prospect of not having to go back if they make it in. Their fondest dream is to be allowed to stay in the United States and be given amnesty.

Step Three. Re-start “Remain in Mexico” and Re-instate Agreements Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. By abandoning these measures, the Biden team created new incentives to exploit our asylum system. This not only contributes to the rush-the-border caravan movement, it detracts from serious efforts to address true humanitarian concerns.

Step Four. End “Catch and Release.” Stop releasing illegal immigrants into our communities. They are, by definition, criminals.

Step Five. Enforce all Immigration Laws. Biden has significantly constrained the authority of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to detain and deport illegal aliens. Further, [he] has curtailed other efforts to secure the border—like building the wall.

What say you Def-Con News readers? I’m inclined to believe that those running the Biden regime know what they’re doing. This current border “crisis” is intentional. Assigning Harris to work the problem was a headline and cover story only. And the problem will grow, the migrant deaths will mount, and eventually this fiasco will be widely acknowledged as the invasion it is.
