The liberal media lie that Trump supporters killed Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick can finally be put to rest. The autopsy, which took place over 2 months ago, shows the officer died of natural causes and that there was no evidence that he was injured in any way. Once again the fake news industry proves to be fake, but they did get plenty of milage out of this horrendous lie so: mission accomplished.
In order to sell the mild protests of January 6 at the Capitol as a deadly insurrection, the liberal media, led by CNN and the NYT, floated the false narrative that violent Trump supports caved USCP officer Brian Sicknick’s head in with a fire extinguisher. This was actually done before Sicknick even died. When that turd came apart in the flushing toilet water, they switched the lie to say that Trump supporters hit Sicknick in the face with bear spray that caused a fatal allergic reaction.
As The Hill reports, the liberal media is all out of bullshit on this one:
The office of the D.C. chief medical examiner has determined that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick suffered two strokes and died of natural causes the day after he worked to defend the Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot.
An autopsy found no evidence the 42-year-old suffered an allergic reaction to chemical irritants, which would have caused his throat to seize, Medical Examiner Francisco J. Diaz told The Washington Post on Monday. Diaz also said there were no indications of internal or external injuries.
Today is April 20. Why is this information just coming out now? Sicknick’s ashes were laid in honor in the Capitol Rotunda on February 3. That means that he was cremated some time before that. That also means that the autopsy was performed and the results finalized before February 3. That was nearly two and half months ago.
In early March, FBI Director Christopher Wray told Senators at a Judiciary Committee hearing that he couldn’t release Brian Sicknick’s cause of death due to “an ongoing investigation.” That was a lie. Sicknick’s cause of death was fully investigated by at least the beginning of February. On top of which, since he died of natural causes and that had been established, what possible additional investigations could there have been?
The answer to many of these questions may lie with what else was going on in early February. Democrats in the House impeached Donald Trump for inciting the “deadly insurrection” at the Capitol and Brian Sicknick’s supposed murder was a centerpiece of their argument. Trump’s impeachment trial in the Senate began on January 9 and Sicknick’s death was brought up as evidence.
Did the democrat impeachment managers know that Sicknick died of natural causes as they accused Trump of inciting his supporters to murder the Capitol Police officer? Almost definitely.
It’s unclear if the liberal media also had this knowledge but they certainly shamed anyone who doubted the story. Here’s something from Talking Points Memo that hasn’t aged very well:
At least five people died during the events of January 6th on Capitol Hill. More than 100 Capitol Police officers were injured, at least 15 of whom required hospitalization. Two Capitol Police officers took their own lives in the days immediately following the assault, presumably spurred by trauma and/or guilt over the insurrection. But the death of Officer Brian Sicknick has loomed over the events of the January 6th like no other. While others were bludgeoned or attacked and could have died of their injuries the fact that Sicknick did die added a gravity to the events of January 6th it would not, for better or worse, otherwise have had.
Because of this, a new ‘truth movement’ has begun to crop up on the right suggesting Sicknick’s death was unrelated to the insurrection and may even be part of a cover-up to tarnish the reputation of Donald Trump and the MAGA movement. It’s ugly and utterly predictable.
The only thing predictable here is that the liberal media and democrats lied about something to push their agenda. These scumbags cannot be trusted.
