Biden’s New UN Ambassador: White Supremacy “Weaved” Into Nation’s Founding Documents

Disgraceful…

Joe Biden has used incredibly poor judgment with many of his appointments and the remarks from his brand new UN ambassador that America is racist to the core speaks volumes about his administration.

When Biden selected Linda Thomas-Greenfield as America’s most high-profile diplomat it was at face value just one more Obama regime retread on the team as well as another of the “diversity” hires that the former veep has prided himself for.

But explosive comments by the former assistant secretary of state for African affairs under Obama have once again underscored the Biden administration’s contempt for America as well as what is an undeniable dislike of white people.

Thomas-Greenfield appeared at the Reverend Al Sharpton’s 2021 National Action Network convention where she trashed America as a racist country and said that “We have to acknowledge that we are an imperfect union and have been since the beginning,” she said, adding “I’ve seen for myself how the original sin of slavery weaved White supremacy into our founding documents and principles.”

She added; “In America, that takes many forms. It’s the white supremacy that led to the senseless killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and so many other Black Americans. It’s the spike in hate crimes over the past three years – against Latino Americans, Sikh and Muslim Americans, Jewish Americans, and immigrants. And it’s the bullying, discrimination, brutality, and violence that Asian Americans face everyday, especially since the outbreak of COVID-19.”

You would think that she would have some gratitude for a country in which a black woman like herself has been able to rise to the lofty position of U.S. Ambassador To The United Nations but the left’s anti-American, anti-white ideology has major sway in Biden’s government.

Instead of rebuking Thomas-Greenfield, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki unbelievably defended the comments which are far beyond the pale.

When a reporter correctly pointed out that the Bidens’ UN ambassador was parroting Chinese communist party talking points and asked whether he would remove her, Psaki responded; “Is the president going to remove an African American woman with decades of experience in the foreign service who’s widely respected around the world from her position as ambassador to the U.N.?”

She added “He is not. He is proud to have her in that position, she is not only qualified, he believes that she is exactly the right person in that role at this moment in time.”

Psaki continued; “I have not seen her comments, I will say that there’s no question that there has been a history of institutional racism in this country and that doesn’t require the U.N. ambassador to confirm that.”

Psaki was also pressed on whether Biden agreed with his ambassador’s controversial assertion.

In answer to the reporter’s question of “does the president think our founding documents are racist?” to which Psaki replied; “I will say that I will leave my comments to speak for themselves and certainly I think that most people recognize the history of systemic racism in our country and she was speaking to that.”

Thomas-Greenfield was given a forum on the Sunday morning “news” shows to spin her remarks into something that they were not to gaslight the public.

MARGARET BRENNAN: This past week, you gave a speech that I want to ask you about, because it’s gotten quite a lot of attention. You said, “The original sin of slavery weaved white supremacy into our founding documents and principles.” You talked about white supremacy being linked to the killing of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor continued discrimination against Muslims and Asian-Americans. America likes to think it provides moral leadership to the world. Are you saying we’re deluding ourselves?

THOMAS-GREENFIELD: No, I think we’re being tremendous leaders. Our country is not perfect, but we continue to perfect it. Those imperfections are part of our history and we have to talk about them. It’s- it’s our strength that we can talk about our imperfections to the world and call out other nations for those same imperfections. So it’s not a- a criticism. It’s an acknowledgement of our history. It’s an acknowledgement of where we started.

But we need to look at where we’ve come. The fact that I came from a segregated high school and I’m now the permanent representative of the United States in- at the United Nations says everything about what our country is about. And I look forward to continuing to engage with other countries, to use our example, to show those other countries what they might achieve. But we still have a lot of work to do and we have to acknowledge that. But we also have to work to continue to improve our country.

MARGARET BRENNAN: But it is precisely because of the- the role you have as a cabinet member, that it drew so much criticism. I mean the Wall Street Journal editorial board called you the “Ambassador of Blame America First” saying, “It sounded like you were reciting Chinese propaganda about America and that you believe your job is to bring critical race theory to the world with a focus on criticizing your own country.” To be clear, were you comparing bigotry in America to mass atrocities carried out against minorities around the world?

THOMAS-GREENFIELD: I was acknowledging what is a fact in the United States. Racism does exist in this country and I think it was a powerful message. Imagine any other country doing that. Our country, the uniqueness of our country, is that we can self-criticize and we can move forward and our values are clear. And the purpose of that speech was to lay out our values, but also acknowledge our imperfections and acknowledge that we are moving forward. I don’t think you will see a Uyghur -a Chinese Uyghur getting on the national stage acknowledging China’s issues with- with human rights. I am not comparing our situation. I am acknowledging that we’ve come a long way and I’m very proud of what we have been able to achieve. But I’m realistic about what we have to do moving forward. And I think if we are going to be a voice around the globe for raising issues of human rights, we cannot whitewash our own issues in- in our own country.’

While such ideas may be widespread in the radicalized Democratic party and in Biden’s White House, they are repugnant to the majority of Americans and only serve to diminish the nation on the world stage but the Chinese government couldn’t be more pleased with the new administration.
