Approached by a TMZ reporter on Saturday morning, California gubernatorial hopeful Caitlyn Jenner issued a rather uncharacteristic stance on transgender athletes.
BREAKING: Caitlyn Jenner says trans girls shouldn't compete in female sports

Jenner has garnered nationwide attention since the announcement of her run for Gavin Newsom’s job. An email distributed to subscribers with the subject line “No boys in girls sports” further illustrates her stance on the issue:
“I was one of the greatest athletes in the world, but had I competed in the female decathlon in the 1976 Summer Olympics, I would have blown my opponents out of the water. Bottom line: it would NOT have been fair to the other female athletes from all around the world to compete against me.”
This is the first policy stance given by the transgender activist and Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete. At this time, Jenner’s campaign website only offers two options to visitors: “Shop” and “Donate.”
I didn’t expect to get asked this on my Saturday morning coffee run, but I’m clear about where I stand. It’s an issue of fairness and we need to protect girls’ sports in our schools.https://t.co/YODLDQ3csP

Jenner was leaving a Malibu, California Starbucks location before issuing a response to the tabloid’s reporter. “This is a question of fairness. That’s why I oppose biological boys who are ‘trans’ competing in girls’ sports in school. It just isn’t fair. And we have to protect girls’ sports -” argued Jenner prior to being interrupted by the TMZ journalist.
As reported by The Daily Wire, Jenner filed the initial paperwork to appear on the California recall ballot last week. The effort to recall Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom reached the number of signatures required to trigger a special election this fall. Jenner drew harsh criticism from the LA Branch Covidian cult last summer, failing to don the Chinese face burka while running errands.
The Newsom camp has launched a media blitzkrieg in order to help the governor keep his job. According to Fox News, Gov. Newsom will give a virtual address during the California Democratic Party’s annual convention on Saturday. Vice President Kamala Harris is also expected to deliver remarks.
