Nationally, there is the same amount of gun control right now as there was a year ago and the 20 years before that. Somehow the White House claims that the current rise in crime is because of a sudden lack of gun control. If that were remotely true, wouldn’t crime be consistently high since the last time the feds passed a gun control bill?
Over the past year, crime in liberals-run cities has gone through the roof. This is due to a number of factors like defunding the police, getting rid of cash bail, and a near-stop of prosecuting most crimes.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki was asked about the spike in violent crime and she has a far different take on things:

“Is there a crime problem in this country?” asked a reporter.
“Well, I would say certainly there is a guns problem and that’s something the president would say,” replied Psaki.
So not a crime problem, but rather a guns problem? Apparently so, and check out the new liberal euphemism for crime:
“There are communities where local violence and community violence is an issue and that’s one of the reasons why we have proposed and have now are implementing funding for community violence prevention,” Psaki said.
Calling crime “community violence” makes it sound so down-home and folksy, doesn’t it?
This answer kept getting worse as Psaki channeled her inner-Biden to reveal this hard-to-believe statistic:
“Between mass shootings, mass shootings that get a lot of attention, that we lower the flags, there are hundreds of thousands of people who lose their lives,” claimed Psaki.
Liberals tell us there are more than one mass shooting every day of the year, but Psaki is talking about the ones that make the news so let’s put that number at 6 per year. According to Psaki in between these shootings which happen every other month or so, hundreds of thousands of people die in gun-related community violence. The bear minimum she could be talking about is 200,000 gun deaths every 2 months, which is 1.2 million people shot to death every year.
I wonder if the liberal media will bother to fact-check this. JK, I know they won’t because it came from somebody on their side.
And because hundreds of thousands of people are being shot to death every 2 months, Biden is pushing for control:
“And that’s one of the reasons the president will continue to advocate for the Senate passing universal background checks but also advocate for actions in states where we have seen the greatest level of activism over the past several years,” said Psaki.
What in God’s name does that second part mean? Advocate for actions in states where they have seen the greatest level of activism? Does she mean pro-gun activism? Does this mean Biden is going to target states that protect the people’s 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms? I think that’s a given, but what kind of action does he have planned. Too bad there’s nobody in the press who could have asked Psaki to elaborate on this.
Psaki finished this off by suggesting that the COVID-19 pandemic is also a cause of the rise in crime over the past year.
There you have it, crime is now “community violence” caused by a lack of gun control and a virus and Joe Biden is going to save millions of lives by going after states that respect the Constitution. I know Biden is a braindead goofball who seems entertaining, but he is actually one scary mother*cker.
