Report Proves Park Police Didn’t Clear Out Protesters For A Trump Photo Op

Yet another Trump-era liberal media lie falls. Last year the fake news and democrats alike were in hysterics, claiming that President Trump had the Park Police clear out protesters in front of the White House with tear gas so he could have a photo op in front of a historic church. A new report from the US Park Police Inspector General says that is completely false. And with that, everything the left said about Trump is now completely debunked.

Last year, with the George Floyd race riots in full swing, there was plenty of rage and destruction happening in Washington D.C. Lafayette Square in front of the White house was filled with thugs and terrorists, launching projectiles and caustic liquids at the police, and they burned down the historic St. John’s church.

The US Park Police decided to set up a perimeter with protective fencing to stop further destruction and cleared protesters out. Not long after, President Trump posed for a now-famous picture in front of the church holding a bible, which liberals claimed was upside down (it wasn’t).

Liberals also claimed that Trump had the USPP clear out the protesters for the photo op and that ain’t true either. The USPP IG has issued a report on the actions of the department on June 1, and this is the conclusion:

The evidence we reviewed showed that the USPP cleared the park to allow a contractor to safely install antiscale fencing in response to destruction of Federal property and injury to officers that occurred on May 30 and May 31. Moreover, the evidence established that relevant USPP officials had made those decisions and had begun implementing the operational plan several hours before they knew of a potential Presidential visit to the park, which occurred later that day. As such, we determined that the evidence did not support a finding that the USPP cleared the park on June 1, 2020, so that then President Trump could enter the park.

In addition, the IG found that USPP didn’t not use tear gas but rather smoke grenades that were non-irritating.

Imagine that. The liberal media and democrats were lying the whole time. They even lied that this was a “peaceful” protest because the IG documented all kind of violence and destruction.

Of course this shouldn’t even be news since the USPP released a statement on June 2, 2020 saying pretty much the same thing:

To curtail the violence that was underway, the USPP, following established policy, issued three warnings over a loudspeaker to alert demonstrators on H Street to evacuate the area. Horse mounted patrol, Civil Disturbance Units and additional personnel were used to clear the area. As many of the protestors became more combative, continued to throw projectiles, and attempted to grab officers’ weapons, officers then employed the use of smoke canisters and pepper balls. No tear gas was used by USPP officers or other assisting law enforcement partners to close the area at Lafayette Park.

The liberal narrative was never true, nor was there ever any ambiguity about what happened last year but they ran with it to attack Trump.

Now the question is, will Twitter slap a disclaimer on these tweets from the current occupiers of the White House for spreading false information?

I’m just kidding. We know Twitter will never censor democrats for spreading lies.

Everything from Russian bounties to Wuhan lap leaks has fallen since Trump left office. With the Trump photo op story debunked, that’s pretty much everything liberals lied about ending up in the trash bin. Imagine how much harder it would have been to steal the 2020 election if the liberal media had done some honest reporting.
