How’s this for circular logic: Ilhan Omar has made a series of anti-Semitic statements regarding Israel and when her fellow democrats called her out on it (sort of) she accused them of being racist and Islamaphobic. It’s always fun to see liberals eat their own and this is shaping up to be a democratic cannibal smorgasbord.
Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar has a long history of anti-Semitism and support for radical Islamic terrorists. She continued this on Tuesday during a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing in which Omar compared both the US and Israel to terrorist organizations:
We must have the same level of accountability and justice for all victims of crimes against humanity.
We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban.

House democrats have been reluctant to condemn Omar’s anti-Semitism, and they still are, but several Jewish House democrats put out a statement asking the Muslim Rep. to clarify her remarks:

“Equating the United States and Israel to Hamas and the Taliban is as offensive as it is misguided. Ignoring the differences between democracies governed by the rule of law and contemptible organizations that engage in terrorism at best discredits one’s intended argument and at worst reflects deep-seated prejudice,” read the statement.
“We urge Congresswoman Omar to clarify her words placing the US and Israel in the same category as Hamas and the Taliban,” it continued.
That’s hardly an attack, or even a strongly-worded condemnation, but you how Omar thinks using her own words against her is a hate crime, so…

Somehow this gets dumber because Omar is also accusing House democrats of putting her life in danger:

That ain’t a death threat but it is a fairly accurate description of Muslim terrorists.
