Democrats and their propaganda machine in the liberal media keep telling us how Republicans are the racist party but the facts on the ground don’t back that up. In fact, anytime a politician does or says something racist, that person has a “D” after their name. Senator Sheldon White House, a democrat, belongs to an exclusive whites-only beach club. Luckily, democrats have a certain privilege and the liberal media will ignore this, insisting it’s really the Republicans who are racist.
When Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse first ran for office in 2006, he promised he would quit the whites-only Bailey’s Beach Club, an exclusive resort for the rich and connected. In 2017, GoLocalProv caught up with Whitehouse to find out if he made good on his promise:
GoLocalProv.com News Editor Kate Nagle finally caught up with U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) to ask him about his family’s membership in the exclusive and all-white Bailey’s Beach Club.
In 2006, when Whitehouse ran for the United States Senate, he reportedly promised to quit his memberships in Bailey’s, as well as the all-male, all-white Bellevue Avenue Reading Room.
However, eleven years later, a GoLocal investigation has uncovered that Whitehouse has consolidated his ownership with his wife in Bailey’s, one of America’s oldest and most exclusive beach clubs.
Not only didn’t Whitehouse quit, his wife became the biggest stakeholders of Bailey’s.
After weeks of refusing to answer GoLocal’s questions about his membership in Bailey’s — Nagle caught up with Whitehouse attending an event in Newport.
“I think it would be nice if they (Bailey’s Beach Club) changed a little bit, but it’s not my position,” Whitehouse told Nagle.
When asked if he would pressure the club to push for diversity at the all-white club], Whitehouse said, “I will take that up privately.” He then told Nagle he had no further comment and walked away.
It wasn’t news in 2006, it wasn’t news in 2017, and it ain’t news now, but GoLocalProv once again asked Whitehouse about his membership in a club for white people only:
Whitehouse was asked if Bailey’s has finally admitted any minority members.
“I think the people who are running the place are still working on that and I’m sorry it hasn’t happened yet,” replied Whitehouse.
Whitehouse was then asked how he could belong to a whites-only club given the amount of time he’s spent denouncing racism on the Senate floor.
“It’s a long tradition in Rhode Island and there are many of them and I think we just need to work our way through the issues,” Whitehouse said.
There you have it: All-white clubs are a tradition so therefore he’s not a hypocrite or a racist somehow.
The KKK has a long tradition, also with the democratic party, so is it okay to belong to that exclusive whites-only club? The answer is yes, of you are a democrat like the late West Virginia Senator Robert Byrd who was an Exalted Cyclops of the KKK.
We know that no Republican members of Congress belong to a whites-only club because that would be a huge liberal media shitshow outrage. I’m sure there a plenty more democrats besides Whitehouse who belong to such a club, it’s just that for some reason the liberal media can’t muster the outrage when it’s someone from their team who is a raging racist hypocrite.
I thought Sheldon Whitehouse’s name was a nod to his presidential ambitions, but it turns out, that’s just his racial presence when it comes to places he hangs out.
